It would be easy to look past the exorbitant pricing (lampas PHP 300 for noodles + spam + fishballs) if the service wasn’t so terrible. Waitress got my order wrong despite me confirming that I wanted something else and when I politely confronted her upon receiving my order, she laughed at me and did not even apologize or at least clarify. She even tried gaslighting me saying that I pointed to the menu when I ordered from outside and even if I did point (which I didn’t), she wouldn’t have seen what I ordered unless she listened to me. No receipt given (I was shortchanged too) and she started blasting loud music that drowned out my phone conversation after. A bit of a shame really since I’ve been here before and was considering becoming a regular and the last time it was quiet and pleasant, but this experience has ruined it for me. See you MongKok, guess I’ll just visit the real place. Hopefully people are more accomodating there (If the boss wants to know I came here at 12:00nn on a Tuesday. Sorry for the review, I just feel bad because I was really starting to like this place)

I’ve come back here several times since my initial impressions below, and the drinks and food are all still good HK street food. My only issue right now is how hot their small dining area can get. I’ve only ever experienced their air conditioning opened once, but most of the time it’s turned off. —- This is a good small spot when you’re craving for some Hong Kong snacks. We ordered a couple of things and it was served pretty fast. The dining area is small, so I don’t suggest bringing a big group. Their Iced HK Milk Tea tastes exactly like the ones you can actually get from Hong Kong (made with Black & White of course) and their egg waffles are served hot and are pretty good. My favorite from what we ordered is probably the noodles. It’s pretty filling and the flavors are on point! Didn’t expect there’d be slices of luncheon meat, but it made the dish better. The fishballs are also particularly super bouncy hehe

My order took so long to be served, the restaurant was too hot that you can smell the oil burning inside, the pork burger ordered was too hard to chew and overcooked. The meal I had was too overpriced as well. I could’ve just went to a more decent restaurant with that price with reasonable and more delectable options for Hongkong dishes. Don’t get me wrong, but I’ve been to HongKong several times already and their food in this restaurant is not even close to the dishes I had in HK. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone šŸ™
