Home Me Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Unlike other hotels I've been to, where the rooms don't quite match the lobby's présentation, Home Me was the opposite & exceeded expectations. The unassuming entrance and lobby didn't hint at the quality that awaited us.
Upon entering, we were greeted by a tobacco scent, but the friendly guard and staff made a great impression. Once we reached our deluxe room, the mood shifted completely. The room was bright and spacious, with comfortable beds and impeccable cleanliness.
The amenities were straightforward and sufficient, including towels, bath & dental care essentials, bottled waters, TV, and ac. The highlight of the room was undoubtedly the bath area. The sliding door revealed a large jacuzzi tub, a spacious wash area with a big mirror, and a glass-enclosed shower section. Soaking in the jacuzzi with hot water was a wonderful treat.
The staff's responsiveness was impressive, particularly when the heater in our initial room stopped working. They promptly transferred us to another room and arranged for repairs. This speaks volumes about the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the hotel's restaurant, as it started serving late. They seemed to have a club on the middle floor of the building. Clubbing isn't our thing, so can't comment on that either but you could feel the vibrations from the speakers a couple of floors away though. It wasn't bothersome for us on the 8th floor, but it might be a concern for those staying closer to the club.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our deluxe room, especially considering the cost. The service, & even the location are topnotch as well - restaurants, cafes, malls, were all easily accessible...
Read moreWe stayed for two nights, and while the location near the mall and the high-quality linens were nice, that's about all this hotel has going for it. It feels like a typical budget hotel in Hong Kong—Chinese-owned with dirty, dimly lit hallways and lackluster service. The rooms are spacious but lack basic amenities like a cabinet and refrigerator. There’s no phone in the room, so any requests require you to go down to the lobby or send a message through apps like Viber, WhatsApp, or Messenger, which means waiting a while for any response. The floors are sticky, so wearing slippers at all times is a must. To top it off, there are clubs on the 3rd and 4th floors, and the noise and vibrations reach all the way up to the 8th floor. Lastly, we noticed small cockroaches crawling on our headboard. Definitely not the experience we...
Read moreI booked this hotel thinking I got a super great deal but I ended up not staying her and not being able to refund my payment. The actual room is completely different compared to the photos you see online. I booked for a room with 2 beds and gave a note that I am checking in with my baby. They gave me a small room with only 1 bed, the smell is so overpowering that my baby keeps crying. It doesn't feel welcoming at all. Yes, the paintings on the wall makes the room looks nice on photos but in reality it's not. Getting my deposit took forever too. One thing went right with this hotel is that their reception is nice and friendly. Glad I got it at a discounted price because it's defiinitely not worth it's...
