Negative: two floors of space filler. Positive: small area about Jose Rizal and the Yuchengco family history.
The Yuchengco Museum is housed within the modern Yuchengco Tower and spans floor floors.
Entrance is 200peso which in hindsight isn’t good value to the floor fillers on ground and 3rd floor.
The most worthwhile exhibits are found on the , 4th, and 2nd floors. These areas focus on the Yuchengco family’s history, tracing their roots from China to the Philippines, and feature artefacts, photographs, and memorabilia related to Ambassador Alfonso Yuchengco, who built his legacy in Manila.
The 3rd floor is largely dedicated to architectural displays, which come across more as space fillers unless you have a particular passion for architecture.
Similarly, the ground floor also focuses on architectural expressions, adding little to the overall visitor experience.
The 2nd floor houses a small but interesting exhibition on José Rizal, showcasing some of his personal artefacts, books, and references to significant women in his life. While this exhibit is meaningful, the space allocated is quite limited.
Overall, the museum suffers from too many “filler” exhibits, particularly the repeated architectural themes, which dilute the visitor experience and make the entrance fee feel...

Read moreThe fourth floor is a wonderful museum with a lovely tribute to Jose Rizal. The story of this Philippine hero is well worth hearing and learning. The third floor tribute to the Philippine artists is absolutely amazing. How the artists transformed very large eggs (about 18" tall) into to classic works or art is a study in creativity. Well worth seeing. The second floor is a most interesting peek into the nightmarish world of this conflicted artist. I thought I had bad dreams, but this artist makes me feel much better. The first floor entry is also a small gift souvenir shop. Very cute, interesting items are available. Like many others have said, the EDSA memorial of the uniting Filipinas has been poluted by the hoard of smokers massing in its area. Unfortunately the area stinks. If you can brave the smell and make it into the museum, you will be well rewarded. Also, there is a small entry donation of 100 pesos per person. The tour is well worth...
