Starbucks Avida Towers Asten — Restaurant in Makati

I frequent this branch whenever I stay in Makati but lately I'm disappointed by the quality of their drink and customer service. Ordered 2 flat white to go and the coffee has very subtle caffeine taste. Also had a business transaction with a client here. No one from our group know counting money isn't allowed. One lady barista approached us nicely to inform us about this, then all of a sudden their male barista just blurted out to our client the word "STOP!" (in an almost shouting tone) before we could even inform our client that counting money isn't allowed (he can't understand english). The way that male barista approached the situation was very rude and beyond the kind of customer service starbucks is advocating. He didn't even bother to be polite nor to explain. This really...

Never again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went here earlier (23-Nov-2024 - Saturday 1100H-1300H) We just stopped by here to wait for our friends. At first they're nice naman taking our orders but when the time na my phone were missing na, nag change na yung presence and behavior nila. (I only went to restroom to remove my waist trainer. Fyi I even don't close the door since am at the back lang removing it and forgot na I brought my phone in the CR). Fast forward, After doing some make up. Dun ko lang naalala where is my phone. So i did was search my whole bag and my partner's bag thrice. And kept looking in the CR. So I asked the counter if they see my phone sa CR and they said na wala pa "daw" nagsu-surrender. And then I went back to counter if it's possible to review the CCTV to check my phone. And then she went inside saying "I'll check/ask muna". Then, the one barista said that there's no on-duty manager today because they're the ones who have access on the CCTV. Naka off daw ng "SAT-SUN".

My heart sank thinking that I lost my phone. My partner kept calling but no ones answer and we also tracking my phone thru Life360 pero nasa Shop parin phone ko di gumagalaw. Fortunately, My partner follow the GPS and inspect the whole restroom. He said that he saw my phone in the back of the toilet doon sa floor. Naka side yung lagay and thinking na talagang intention na tinago yung phone ko there cause I don't use or even go near in the toilet. Buti nalang very observant ako dahil nakita ko kung sino yung pumunta sa restroom kasunod ko. (I cried talaga dahil halo halong emosyon na yung nararamdaman ko.)

So we tried to connect the dots. I stared to the person/staff na nakita ko. And boom! She can't even look at me or even umiiwas sya ng tingin kapag nakita nya na nakatitig ako sa kanya. And ramdam ko lahat ng staff sa SB is nag-iba. They kept stealing glances sa akin. And can't even smile.

I am also bothered that why is the SB in that place have no on-duty manager since operations sila dapat may isang manager or at least officer-in-charge. So our final verdict is the who don't wear apron and just roaming around sa shop is yun yung Manager. They are just hiding from us.

Kung customer yung kumuha dapat wala na yun doon. Buti nalang naka Life360 kami.

Sana naman maging tapat at katiwa-tiwala kayo. We treat you nicely and yet ayun yung makukuha namin...

Im a regular at this branch. I visit every weekend. I really appreciate their hardworking crew. All of them are respectful, kind, attentive and always ready to assist. They remember the names of their regulars, always offer ice for their service water, always give a smile when they take your order. These small things are greatly appreciated. Service quality is great. Preparation of drink/food is fast. Ambience and cleanliness, superb! I feel at home staying for long hours at this store. Rooting for the crew at this branch----keep up...
