We've been passing through this place along Gandara st... Until we finally decided to try it out... And to our surprise it did not disappoint... Ok this place is a bit different from the usual Chinese restaurants... It has some "Turo-turo" style system which actuality makes the whole eating experience interesting... Must try are the steamed fish dishes. The food here is "Chi-noy" style which is not bad at all... Notice also that majority of the patrons are Chinese tourists which tells you something... Either they come in highly recommended or their food simply hits it where it matters... Price is at the low-mid category and is a definite must try for food lovers...

Went here early in the morning on a Sunday to have breakfast. Ordered scallops, pompano, squid, fish fillet, black gulaman, oyster omelette, and bowls of rice. They served pretty quick! Despite looking like a hole-in-the-wall, they have a lot of tables and ample space when you get inside. Spent around 3,000 for the meals, and there were six of us. I'd say it is worth it. I loved the seafood meals a lot! Street parking only within Ongpin.

One of the best places to eat ever. 10/10 would definitely go back here to eat Reedit: 3 years later im back and its still 10/10, the meat over the ampalaya and mushrooms are so tender that it feels like im not chewing it anymore, the taosi fish also taste excellent soft and subtle taste but the mouth feel is so pleasant. Would still highly recommend to go eat here.

I tried it because Presidents Tea House is already closed. Ive heard people rave about this resto having the best maki-mi in binondo. I guess we all have different tastebuds because when i ordered their maki-mi, it did not taste that special. Ginger is overpowering the rest of the ingredients. Dont get me wrong, its not bad, but, its not that good either. When it comes to the best maki-mi, its still Ha-yuan for me. Their kiampong is also okay but not worth going back again. Theres nothing special about this place. Will explore other restos in the neighborhood again as an alternative to my favorite, but already closed,...
