We recently dined at a Chinese restaurant and had an amazing experience. We were initially intrigued by the large crowd outside, and after waiting in line, we were not disappointed with the food. The Patatim dish was cooked perfectly, soft and tender with great flavor. The Chinoy Fried Chicken was crispy and had a delightful texture. The shrimp hakaw was hands down the best dish we had. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and the flavors were simply amazing. The shrimp filling is well-seasoned, with a balance of salty and sweet flavors that enhance the natural sweetness of the shrimp. The texture of the filling is tender and juicy, yet firm enough to hold its shape inside the delicate wrapper. Hakaw is wrapped in a translucent thin dough that is slightly chewy, yet thin enough to showcase the filling inside. The pork xiao long bao was also very delicious, with a great balance of flavors. The skin of the dumpling is thin and delicate, yet strong enough to hold the filling without breaking apart. When you bite into the dumpling, the savory broth inside burst in your mouth, blending with the pork filling creating a delicious and satisfying flavor. The Yangchow rice was a perfect compliment to our meal, also bursting with flavor. Despite the packed restaurant and the long wait time, we were thrilled with our dining experience and would definitely visit again. The food was truly "masarap," and we left feeling satisfied and content. Overall, if you're looking for a Chinese restaurant that offers good food and dining visit this spot. Highly recommended

Place is always packed and you will have to line up in order to be seated but the wait is worth it I guess. Earlier during our meal we got 3 orders of Hakaw and I noticed we were missing another order of Hakaw (4/order) and they only served 7 pcs. (which was supposed to be 8 based on their standards. I dont know where the missing 1 is, but I didn't mind). I also had to ask the server where the missing hakaw order is, good thing they checked asap. Unfortunately Pork Xiao Long Bao was unavailable during that time so we opted to order the chicken variant instead. Dumplings reminded me of gyoza (taste wise) Pork and shrimp siomai was kinda dry but tasty Patatim (sliced) is yummy and worth the price Hakaw: I was expecting to taste bamboo shoots but I guess they dont have it as an ingredient. Beef tendon mami is tasty And so is beef wonton mami. • Food was good and affordable. • Place is kinda packed and not really much space. • Not enough air circulation though so expect to be sweating when seated at corner tables. • there were many dining staff but not really attentive to those seated far and had to raise my hand for a few minutes before someone noticed, I didn't want to call them since I see that they have theire hands full. (So thats my fault I guess.) But overall, they could use some improvements (service wise) but we enjoyed our first dining experience inside the restaurant.

At 11am on a Wednesday, there was no line so I thought why not. Ordered hakow, siu mai, and kikiam. I also ordered the buchi, but they told me they ran out. At 11am? Already? Just take it off the menu if you can't serve it consistently. Kikiam came first. It was sweet and savoury, with some sourness from the vinegar and atchara. I liked this dish. Siu mai came next. They were small, came in a solid clump together so I had to wrestle them apart. They were not very fresh, it was cold and rubbery. Not much shrimp flavor, mostly pork. The worst part was the wonton skin, the texture was so chalky. I would not order this again. Hakaw came last. These were more freshly steamed than the siu mai, and had a decent shrimp flavor. But again, that skin is super chalky and unappetizing. Also the calamansi served with it was a bit gross looking. Bill came to 305 php. Overall, not worth the hype, but it's decent for a cheap meal. I would steer clear of the dim sum if you are used to HK style. I might come back to try other items, but probably wouldn't bear waiting in line too long.

This place was in the top list of Binondo food trips so I went there out of curiosity. The line was long when we arrived before noon, it took like 20-30mins to get the table of four. Better decide your meals while on the line. The restaurant is always packed, and they serve quickly. They provide free-flow mineral water but I recommend you to try the black gulaman which is so refreshing in the midst of the hot weather. The food itself is adequate. Spring rolls and ube siopao were good, pork was okay and the chinoy fried chicken had a big portion but tbh, for me they are kinda pricey. However, as my Filipino companion said, the neighborhood isn't that tourist-friendly. The old bread seller lady in the front of the restaurant kept on nagging us to not queue in front of her cart. We also got the table near the open backdoor. When we were busy talking, I noticed someone in time, stand outside but pretty close to our table. He was eyeing my phone on the table and shifted right away when I saw him. So please be really careful with your belongings.

I already saw this restaurant many times ...a years ago and so amazing that still the pile(big line) of people wants to eat here is so amusing! Anyway we got the chance to eat here, even though we were waiting for almost 30 minutes in the line and the rain drizzle on our face because the line is outside the restaurant on the sidewalk, the wait fades off... We ordered beef wanton mami, xiao long bao and patatim slice....in less than 15 minutes the food is on our table already! The serving of beef wanton mami is big and can feed atleast 3 to 4 people, it was delicious and savory, while the xiao long bao is very appetizing its a real pork and complement to the sauce. On the other hand i was a little bit disappointed with the patatim well the taste is good but the serving is very small well thats why its called slice lol! All in all the experience is astonishing, its really valued our money. The food is the best, for sure ill come back here whenever we will be on binondo...

Went here on a holiday, lined around 1800 and entered by 1900. The lines were long. Waiting time worth it for the price, I guess so? If you’re with friends then you can easily kill time but if you’re alone then good-luck. Was the taste justified by the price? For me it was a big yes. Food was flavorful, someone item on the menu tasted better with the sauce provided and some taste better as is. I guess some of the steamed item was out for steaming for too long because it tasted good but not fresh. Beef braised and the pork rib rice was absolutely amazing 10/10. The shrimp hakaw is okay. The dumplings were better with the sauce provided. Fresh fruit shakes tasted as it sounds but would be better if it was less sweet. The noodles were definitely good. Fried chicken tasted like fried chicken, nothing fancy. Overall, it was a great experience and would be back with friends or family in another time that’s not at peak hours. Next time I’m here, going to try other items.
