First, prepare a face towel as your appetite would be battling against the heat. You'd be drenched in sweat while eating.

Next, the service is not that great but still acceptable. If you're not first in line, you will be waiting at least 30 minutes before the first dish comes out.

Lastly, we ordered bihon, yang chow fried rice, sweet and sour pork, frog legs, buttered chicken and oyster cake. -The fried rice is great. -The bihon and sweet and sour pork are just okay. Will eat it but not something you will order again. -Frog legs are nice to try for the first time but that's it. -The oyster cake was good at first since I tasted the cooked edges first but as you get to the middle, it becomes gooey and the texture makes you throw up. I have to follow it up with a drink just to swallow it since I don't like spitting out food. -Buttered chicken is utterly disappointing. We're expecting it to taste like the usual sauce coated chicken from many establishments but it turns out it's like butter soup was poured onto the fried chicken. No other taste but butter.

Conclusion: My comments do not represent everyone's taste. What may be unappetizing to us may be delicious to some. If it's your first time in Binondo, it's good to try. Maybe if you order take-out and eat it in the comforts of your cool home or vehicle, it could be a...

Estero Fast food is one of the best known restaurants located in one of the very fascinating historical locations, the oldest Chinatown in the world, Binondo, Manila, my friends and I went there to visit and try their "delicious food". So, we are expecting then to get our crave satisfaction. And because this was our 1st time to visit there, and we heard a lot of rumors about the foods and the long queue of people, that's why we made an effort just to get there. And yes there is a long queue (it took for us for almost two hours on waiting) but the foods they served? (huh! you will make really a second thoughts) Not really worth your time and the price is very pricy for an ordinary carenderia!

It is important for a resto like this, to feel for their customers to provide them their satisfaction but they can't bring simply a good plates to serve for their customers. Not to mentioned the place..

And I even noticed that they are not issuing an "Original Receipt" to their customers upon billing their orders. Attention #BIR! Why not try also to visit this popular resto in Binondo town, just to...

Not for the faint hearted! Food is great! Service is fast, just make sure you have made your orders clear.

Recommendations Fried frog legs! Yes that is correct, but don't expect big legs, as these frogs are small. Did you know that only the leg parts are edible.

Yang Chow Fried Rice is a must, no diet here, a small order could feed up to 3pax.

Steamed Fish or lapu-lapu just ordered the medium or large. Tasty, soft and fresh with a bit of it's fish oil and flavoring.

Calamari if you want to munch down while waiting for your main course.

Salted egg Fried chicken, if you want that salty and crunchy texture. We order this a lot.

Pancit bihon mix & sauteed vegetables to add some varieties.

Recommend place! Expect to be noisy, loud, smelly, and hot in this stretch.

Note: they have a clean restroom just ask...

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Binondo! I always come back for their buttered chicken and fish fillet with tofu. Both dishes are delicious and consistently satisfying. Their medium-sized servings are generous, good for 3-4 people, and cost around ₱300-₱400. While the food is a bit on the expensive side, it’s definitely worth it for the quality. The dining area is well-ventilated and has that classic outdoor carinderia vibe — simple, but comfortable. The location is easy to find on Google Maps and very accessible. We went here at around 5pm on a Friday for early dinner so the place was not that packed. I’m not sure about the parking situation though, so that might be something to consider if you’re bringing a car. Overall, highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving good food!
