McDonald's Recto Rizal Ave — Restaurant in Manila

📍 McDonald's Rizal Ave. corner Recto, Manila 🗓️ Date of Visit: Sept 22, 2025 I’m really disappointed with my recent visit to this branch. I expected the usual McDonald's standards, but unfortunately, this experience fell short: 🐜 Dining area – There were a lot of flies inside, which made it uncomfortable and unsanitary to eat. 🚻 Comfort Room – It was smelly, poorly maintained, and honestly, quite unpleasant to use. 🛡️ Security Guard – Instead of attending to their duties, the guards were busy on their phones, texting and browsing Facebook. 👩‍💼 Manager on Duty – The person in charge looked unapproachable and unfriendly ("masungit"), which added to the negative vibe during the visit.

McDonald’s is known for quality service and cleanliness, so I hope management takes immediate action to improve this branch. Customers deserve a clean and welcoming environment.

McDonald's at Recto Rizal Avenue branch is not so big place. It has second floor.

The place is not cold, I don't know if the management is checking on their air-conditioning units if they are all working properly.

This branch is a busy one because the location is at the corner of Recto avenue and Rizal Avenue,so people can easily see it.

Due to many customers, the place is not so clean especially the floor. But in fairness to this branch, when I dined in here, I saw one staff cleaning the stairs.

The food is okay like the other branches of McDonald's.

It is always good to try a newly opened fastfood branch. Cleanliness, enthusiastic crew, and fresh environment are just a few of its perks. The conversion of this lot from a cheap, prostitute-bristling beer garden to a publicly accessible McDonald's franchise is a definite upgrade of the vicinity. One noticeable downside, however, is the obvious lack of seating capacity, especially on the ground floor. More efficient design of interiors and space usage could help a lot in generating occupiable space.
