Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscape of Sagada's mountains, Bana's Coffee offers a picturesque setting to savor a delightful breakfast. Our recent visit to this charming coffee shop left us with a memorable experience, combining the soothing aroma of freshly brewed coffee with a stunning view that perfectly complemented our morning meal. Upon arriving at Bana's Coffee, we were immediately captivated by the beauty of our surroundings. The panoramic vista of Sagada's mountain range painted a magnificent backdrop, creating a serene and tranquil ambiance that set the stage for an enjoyable dining experience. As we settled into our seats, we eagerly perused the menu and decided to try their signature Latte, Sausage Omellete, and Pesto dishes. The Latte arrived promptly, crafted with expertise and a rich, velvety texture that was simply divine. The balance of flavors was spot-on, with a gentle bitterness offset by a subtle sweetness, making it a delightful way to kickstart our morning. The Sausage Omellete was a hearty and satisfying choice. The fluffy omelette was generously filled with savory sausage, creating a burst of flavors that danced on our taste buds. Accompanied by a side of crispy toast, this dish provided a wholesome and fulfilling breakfast option. For those seeking a lighter option, the Pesto dish at Bana's Coffee is an excellent choice. The vibrant green pesto sauce, blended with aromatic herbs and garlic, coated the al dente pasta beautifully. Topped with a sprinkling of grated cheese, this dish was a refreshing and flavorsome delight, bringing a touch of Mediterranean goodness to our breakfast table. Beyond the delectable food, Bana's Coffee's attentive service added to the overall experience. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu, making helpful recommendations that enhanced our dining pleasure. Their warm hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The only minor aspect that could be improved was the speed of service during peak hours. As the coffee shop gained popularity, it seemed to attract a substantial crowd, causing slight delays in receiving our orders. However, this slight inconvenience was overshadowed by the overall quality of the food and the mesmerizing ambiance. In conclusion, Bana's Coffee is a hidden gem in Sagada, offering an unforgettable breakfast experience amidst the splendor of nature. From the breathtaking mountain views to the delectable Latte, Sausage Omellete, and Pesto dishes, our visit was a harmonious blend of flavors and captivating scenery. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or simply seeking a serene retreat, Bana's Coffee is a must-visit destination that will leave you longing for more.

Tourist (or Starbucks) pricing. Local coffee. Is it worth it? We (together with my SO) ordered a Bana's blend each, Etag Omelette and Tapa to start and celebrate our very first trek of Sagada. P150 for the coffee each and P250 for the breakfast plate. Totalling P800 ($15 USD). The coffee was served first and, after 10 minutes or so the rest came. The verdict - The coffee was strong and flavorful! Starbucks doesn't hold a candle. Only Bo's coffee can come close. The food was great! Although the tapa's acidity does not jive well with the coffee. But the taste, portion size, presentation are exceptional. Even the watermelon on the side tasted so fresh and sweet. Etag omelette is exceptional as well. Etag is Sagada's local spin on bacon - smoked cured pork. I find it saltier than bacon so if you are watching over your salt intake, you have been warned. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The place is homey with open windows flooding the place with natural light and fresh air. But, along with it - houseflies drop by for a visit. I would totally give up Starbucks totally, and just have coffee and food here instead. Note that I do not go to SBUX to have coffee - only their soy milk and for nomad office space. I will definitely be back here given the chance.

Bana's Coffee: A Coffee Haven Worth Celebrating

When it comes to the array of Sagada coffee cafes, Bana's Coffee stands tall, delivering an exceptional coffee experience that deserves recognition.

While renowned for its award-winning civet coffee, we opted for the classic americano, latte, cappuccino, and spanish latte. Each of these coffee drinks hit the mark perfectly. Among all the americanos I've tasted in Sagada, Bana's stands out with its distinct flavor. The latte, too, was a treat, its frothed milk lending an ideal creamy touch.

The baristas added to the experience with their politeness and efficiency. The prompt service and expertly crafted coffee deserve accolades of their own. Not to mention the irresistibly Instagram-worthy interior and the view that pairs flawlessly with your coffee.

In summary, Bana's Coffee is more than deserving of praise, offering a coffee haven that...
