If you want to dine in Barcino- AVOID THIS BRANCH. Worst service from an expensive restaurant.
This happened a few months ago. It was a busy evening, there weren't any seats available inside, which was totally understandable. So we were directed to Molito's public table (the wooden tables with umbrella) not Barcino's al fresco area. Which was fine, because again- busy night.
There were leftover popcorn packages that obviously were not from the restaurant. The waiter did not bother to clear out the table till we asked them to.
We had to follow up several times for water. They explained they lacked glasses, but then when people from other tables (in their al fresco area) would leave- we still weren't served water.
We assumed it was because of where we were seated, it wouldn't look like we were customers. But based on the other customer reviews here, they just have terrible service.
Our next visit was just as bad. We were moved to another table because they wanted to accommodate a group that was more than ours. They didn't really ask us if it's okay, more of we had no choice. And they just watched us bring our drinks to the new table. When we were served water--- soap bubbles in their glasses!!
Asked for the bill, we noticed there were 2 drinks missing. Approached the staff and they thanked us for the honesty. Gave us the new bill, we paid and left.
When we read the bill, they DOUBLED the price of what the missing orders...

The server was very rude, He would heavy-handedly place the dishes on the table. Took so long to serve food in other table. Paid Php1,000 for the extension fee, but when the lights were turned on by the guest, the staff told her, “patay na yan eh". No audio in the VIP room because they forgot to bring the chord.

Firstly, the drinking glasses were served without being properly wiped after washing, which is unacceptable. The staff were not attentive at all, and we constantly had to call their attention just to place an order.
Our first pitcher of Sangria took more than 10 minutes to arrive, while the next two pitchers took only 2-3 minutes each. This inconsistency and lack of prompt service were incredibly disappointing.
