Ever since they first opened their doors, Group & Boiler has established themselves in the Alabang third-wave scene as a place to get a solid cup of coffee. Their servers are incredibly welcoming and their thoughtfulness clearly translates into the food and beverages they serve.
Only recently did we venture into their food and coffee cocktails menu and they absolutely did not disappoint. We took the recommendations of the server and tried their Smoked BBQ Ribs, Grilled Four Cheese, and the Bowl of Wedges. The Smoked BBQ Ribs were soft and not overly sweet (just the way we like the sauce). The Grilled Four Cheese was surprisingly delicious, for a seemingly simple dish; it came with this garlic and tomato sauces that excellently complimented the sandwich. The wedges were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, topped with a good sprinkling of salt.
As for our drinks, we got their Sweet Peach Ginger Tea and Lemon Lychee Iced Tea. I personally loved that we could still distinguish the taste of the tea in the midst of the syrup. We tried one of their coffee cocktails (which I unfortunately forgot the name of) but it had a kick of alcohol that wonderfully complimented the shot of coffee, sprinkled with cinnamon. It tasted like tiramisu in a cup, the perfect drink to usher int he holidays.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Group & Boiler Coffee Co., and I must say that it was a delightful experience. The customer service was outstanding, with the staff being exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They made sure we felt welcome and well taken care of, which is why I'm rating their customer service a 5 out of 5.
As for the food, I tried their Pesto dish, which was decent but not extraordinary. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable and I would rate the food a 4 out of 5. Though I didn't get a chance to try their coffee, it seemed to be quite popular with other patrons. I opted for their orange juice and Sweet Peach Ginger tea, both of which were refreshing and delicious.
The ambiance at Group & Boiler Coffee Co. was very relaxing and inviting, making it an ideal spot for or some quiet time with a good book. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this cafe and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly atmosphere, good food, and a wide variety...
Read moreFinally was able to visit this cafe. The reviews about their coffee were all positive and I agree. It was good. There was only one person manning the counter so I expected the service to be on the slower side, which was fine because I was not in any rush. Really just wanted to chill. Had an omelette with my coffee and my furbaby and I enjoyed it. The place is really small and when I got there around 10.30am all the tables were full. Only the small couch and low table were available. Since I had a pet with me, I sat outside. I suggest they make an electric fan available for al fresco customers like the restaurants beside them. It'll make the outside dining experience a bit better. Despite the lack of electric fan and some flies, it was an enjoyable brunch. When I was done, the patrons who were there inside occupying the tables were still there. I guess camping out in the cafe is ok. So if you want to stay inside, better get there really early to...
