My first time here today. Tried the HG signature iced coffee and cinnamon bread.
In terms of taste, coffee is well-served. Tbh, one of the best taste around the area. The coffee was not acidic and it has a balanced creaminess with actual caffeine taste. As an avid coffee drinker, the taste is definitely 5/5. The only downside tho is they don't offer variation in sizes and for me 12 oz is so small. Bitin! haha. I really hope they consider selling larger volumes of coffee.
The cinnamon bread was worth 120 pesos and the amount of cream toppings was too much for me. I can't say it wasn't great, it was just that I was never a fan of extra sweet treats.
The ambiance is what I came here for. SB, CBTL and tim hortons on the expansion wing side of festival mall are extra crowded specially during lunch breaks. And this side of the mall was kinda serene and quiet, so I gave it a shot. The place was simple, minimal but aesthetic. The chairs are small tho. Still a good place for some coffee and tulala.
Over all, the coffee was really good I would definitely come back and recommend this...
Read moreHigher Ground Specialty Coffee at Festival Mall Alabang offers a perfect lazy Saturday ambiance. I visited around 11:32 am and the crowd has yet to be there. It’s a three-in-one shop where they have a bike shop, tattoo shop, and a coffee shop all in one place.
I ordered HG Matcha and a slice of Strawberry Cheesecake. Their HG Matcha is blended so well, and the strawberry cheesecake was alright.
If I’m not mistaken, they offer a minimalist tattoo for every PHP500 order, which was a very interesting service. Staff are helpful as well.
I decided to stay in their al fresco dining and it’s really peaceful and relaxing as it is near by the river park as well. The humidity isn’t that distracting and the plants all over the place have served as a good decoration within the space. My only comment would be that the chairs inside are a bit low. But overall, the interior and exterior of the shop is aesthetically exciting. I hope they can offer more pastry variations...

This place has become my favorite spot to relax and unwind. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful — never too loud — which makes it perfect for reading, working, or simply enjoying a good cup of coffee.
The staff are always welcoming and polite. I feel genuinely taken care of every time I visit. One of the best things about this café is the convenience: they offer free Wi-Fi, charging outlets, and comfortable seating.
The matcha latte is my go-to order — smooth, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness. Most importantly, the whole vibe of this place makes it easy to feel at home. Whether you're working remotely or just looking for a quiet break, I highly...
