Korean Samgyupsal and Japanese Yakiniku in Festival Mall. Currently on soft opening thus please expect the following: Under staffed. Some items in the menu is not available. Little slow preparation.
What I liked at first. Huge space thus can accommodate more people. Lots of variety of meats and side dishes. Unli Wagyu Cubes Shrip and Scallops (additional cost)
Our experience and my personal review: Upon sitting on the table all the meats except the chicken are already served without asking us. Side dishes were already served as well. For me this is a con as we were deprived with the meat choices. Unli Wagyu Cubes for additional P180 per head. I was excited at first however upon serving the Wagyu Cubes were frozen thus you need to either wait for it to thaw or cook it a little longer. Nothing special about the taste it was closed to a SPAM and its salty. Tips: WAGYU CUBES are NOT WORTH IT for additional P180. The meats. Typical samgyup meats, i like the plain pork and the beef bulgogi. Small servings which is good so you can try it and just order more if you like it. The squid though, you can only taste the pepper. Side dishes. I liked the Kimchi and the Kimchi fried rice. However the others were just plain and nothing stands out for me. Price. P549 is a bit higher compared to other Samgyup places but it is understandable because lots of choices on the menu. Service. It was a decent service. Its still a soft opening so i guess it is still understaffed. Huge space but the downside is tables are closed to each other thus if the place is full it will be too cramped up.
Overall Review: A typical Unli Samgyup+Yakiniku. Nothing stands out. You can try it if you haven't yet but don't expect too much especially flavor-wise. It wasn't worth it for me.

Read moreI recently dined at the Samgyuniku branch in Festival Mall, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience overall.
To start, the place was poorly maintained. The floor was extremely slippery, posing a safety risk. Tables and chairs weren’t thoroughly cleaned either — everything felt oily and greasy to the touch, which was quite off-putting.
The staff service was also underwhelming. They weren’t friendly or approachable, and there seemed to be a clear lack of hygiene and food safety practices. I witnessed a staff member handling the grill plate with bare hands, holding it on the side where the food would be placed, without using gloves or tongs. That alone made me question how clean anything really was.
On top of that, the air-conditioning was terrible. It was hot, humid, and suffocating inside the restaurant, with poor ventilation that made it uncomfortable to sit and eat for long. For a place that serves grilled food at the table, this setup makes the dining experience feel even more stuffy and unclean.
Considering all of this, I really don’t think it’s worth the ₱699 price. Cleanliness, proper ventilation, and basic food safety should never be compromised, no matter the price point.
I hope management takes serious steps to improve the overall environment and service. Diners...
Read moreOne of the worst Samgyupsal places. Their prices are competitive so we really have high expectations. The only good point here are the staffs who were doing their best to keep up with customers even during peak hours. They are really hardworking! Swear! I added 1 star because of them.
Meat is picked up from the counter on a self-service style after the first set of meat is served. The set is already prepared so even if we don't eat chicken, we did eat to avoid paying penalty HAHA
On the self service pickup counter, you will be able to pick ready to serve side dishes. They boast 16 side dishes before you even enter their place, but some are not available on the self-service pickup counter. Though, you can ask their crew, but it might take time so you need to wait. Their were only around 7 or 8 on the counter ready for pickup. Their kimchi is okay, but the cucumber kimchi is bland.
Actually, we really came here for the meat, and I really don't like the idea of going to the counter to take the meat because it's not very hygienic. The clamp used to pickup meat are already used by other people, so just bring your own clamp if you refill your meat.
Their sauces are diluted. Including the cheese sauce. So for me, it feels like everything seems...
