Neil’s Kitchen is where traditional Filipino flavors meet a modern twist. It’s not just a meal here—it’s an experience that makes you appreciate how creative and flavorful Filipino cuisine can be. Whether you’re dining with friends or celebrating something special, this spot delivers on all fronts.

Pros: Innovative Filipino Dishes: The menu is full of surprises! From their signature Sinigang na Beef Short Rib and Watermelon to the Paella Negra, every dish brings something unique to the table.

Beautiful Ambiance: The restaurant has a cozy yet chic vibe, with clean interiors and Instagram-worthy corners. It’s perfect for date nights or group gatherings.

Generous Portions: The servings are great for sharing, so you definitely get value for your money.

Friendly Staff: The service is fantastic. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, even offering recommendations if you’re unsure.

Accessible Location: Being in Westgate Center, it’s easy to find, and there’s ample parking available.

Cons: Pricey for Some: While worth it for the quality and creativity, it might feel a bit upscale for budget-conscious diners.

Crowded During Peak Hours: It’s a popular spot, so it’s best to reserve a table in advance, especially on weekends.

Limited Menu for Picky Eaters: If someone in your group isn’t adventurous with food, the fusion dishes might not appeal to them.

Recommendation: Don’t miss the Sinigang na Beef Short Rib and Watermelon—it’s the perfect balance of tangy, savory, and slightly sweet. For dessert lovers, the Puto Bumbong with a Twist is a must-try!

Final Thoughts: Neil’s Kitchen is a gem for anyone looking to rediscover Filipino cuisine in an elevated and creative way. It’s more than just dining—it’s about celebrating the flavors of home with a fresh perspective.

Definitely something to try if you are a foodie, and ready to explore creative ways Filipino dishes would be.

I ordered Sinigang Paella with Grilled Pork Belly as I've read a lot of good feedbacks about it. can't deny the pork belly was marinated and grilled well, but as for the paella rice it was too sour and I feel like eating burung kapampangan as the rice went to soggy and the fried kangkong somehow tasted like tempura or some sort of it was fried on where they also fried a fish. Probably that might be the goal of the dish, but not for my palette. Overall, the dish still was good.

The other one I ordered was Fried Suman, Mangga and Chocnut. Oh, this one is so nostalgic. Reminds me of life in the province and growing up in thr 90s. Kudos on this dessert, definitely something I will order again.

The staff were also attentive. The place was so homey and clean. And the menu would attract you to come back and try the other itema on their specialty list.

Absolutely something you can recommend to your friends...

Celebrated Special Occasions in Filipino Fusion Restaurant

The place is easy to spot since it is near the entrance of Westgate Center. This restaurant is located on a long stairway which is also good for photo ops. The interior is old, simple and neat.

At the entrance, the crew were enthusiastically welcoming. They are attentive and energetic. They know their menu that we could ask their recommendations. In all fairness, we liked what we ordered. They were mostly common Filipino food but with a twist. Unexpectedly, we all liked the Pinakbet Salad, it is crunchy and flavorful. We also liked our dessert, Fried Suman, Mangga and Chocnut. The combination blended well. Other dishes are good too. The menu just need to specify if the dish is good for a group meal or for single serving.

I believe it takes creativity and talent to create a new recipe from the food we use to love but they did. They just didn't change the appearance but make a new texture and experience. It is therefore a good fusion and we...

Visited the South to see dear friends and spend time all over Alabang. We first had lunch at Westgate - Neil's Kitchen and enjoyed our paella meals and terrific service. I had the Paella Valenciana and tempura. Certainly not the usual combination in Spain so I figured they're doing modern cuisine stuff. It worked for me! The aioli dip worked well, too. The baked sisig had good taste but a bit cloying. Molo wrapped pork bits was an interesting concept, but it didn't feel wholly fleshed out as I normally mix the sisig and it could've mashed all those molo wrappers if I didn't see them. After a while, it got too slushy and wet. Parang nakakasawa (ie cloying) nga. Wifey ordered the sinigang paella with grilled liempo. The liempo is the star! A sour tasting paella is accurate since it's sinigang, but not my type.
