Shakey's (Moonbay Subic) — Restaurant in Olongapo

We really had a bad experience with the service. So, coming in (with 1 small kid and a toddler), no one greeted us and lend any help. We literally sat down on one of the empty tables and seemed like we were invicible that no one noticed us. It feels like eating in a fast food hey.

We're thankful for the security guard who helped us fix the table and took the used utensils etc.

When it's our turn to be given service, we got 3 paper cups and plates with utensils. They did not explain why they did not setup and gave us those paper cups!

Good thing the food service was good and I think the kitchen side is very good.

I tried to ask for the manager but they told us that he is currently holding an event at the function and we saw it.

I hope they made a better decision on whose going to take over on the floor. I was having high hopes for you Shakey's Subic bay. But I think you really need to improve your service and be equal to all people. I will definitely will not go anymore in your restaurant and will go for a grab delivery instead of having such...

Ate dinner here as a couple. Probably the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The restaurant was extremely noisy although not particularly busy (Sunday early evening) and the service was atrocious. The potato (mojos) were nice otherwise we would have gone hungry! We were banking in a good dessert - only to discover nothing was available other than an “ice cream sundae” which turned out to be one ball of icy vanilla ice cream with a dash of chocolate sauce, a small dob of canned cream and a glacé cherry. Very disappointing. The worst was the toilet!! I’m aware we aren’t in Europe any more but this was supposed to be a decent restaurant - so opening a door directly off the restaurant to a toilet and a urinal (both dirty) was a bit of a surprise. Of course this qualifies as a gender neutral toilet so gives them a bonus point but not acceptable for other people who prefer to be gender specific! The notice on the toilet saying it was out of order left a female the choice of a urinal or nothing. Anyway - we won’t be going...

Large pizza parlor in the SBMA area. The usual Shakey's menu. Chicken was tasty and in good portions. Pizza was not that good as the cheese used was very very salty. No stuffed crust variety available. No coke zero or coke light refill available for some unknown reason, so if you want to drink a lot of non-sugary coke with your food you have to order multiple small volume cans at a high cost. My wife chose a banana split ice cream from the menu but for some also unknown reason that was not available as well ( no bananas ? no ice-cream ? There is a large supermarket next door to buy it. No management ?). Prices moderate to high. Toilet was dirty with pieces of toilet paper scattered around and when I lift the lid there were small pieces of poo scattered on the rim of the bowl. Staff was efficient and polite. Conclusion : an OK pizza parlor with very salty pizza and items on the menu that are not available...
