If you want to experience authentic Korean food like in K-dramas, this is the place! Their menu not only consisted of KBBQ, but they have dishes like Samgyetang, cold noodles, Jajangmyeon, and Jjampong which are usually hard to find in Manila.

We don’t frequent the area and the first time we ate here was during VP Leni’s campaign rally. We were so impressed with the food, we had to go back just to eat here again.

Must try: Moksal and Ttukbaegi Bulgogi. Their Moksal is so tender and the Bulgogi is very tasty. Side dishes are also superb (Was able to try the Kimchijeon on our first visit and fishcake the second time).

Also got the tuna rice ball & Tteokbokki set and they are also good, along with the Spam Kimchi Fried rice & Bibimbap. Also had the Custard and Red bean Bungeoppang and the filling was full of flavor and the dough is also perfect. Worth noting that they have improved greatly from the previous review on their Bungeoppang. Kudos for being open to improve the quality of food and service! 😊

Serving sizes were also good, we were already so full but we still had a lot to take home for dinner. Members of the staff were also very nice and accommodating with our requests, despite us ordering every once in a while. Ambiance inside the restaurant is also good, along with the music they play.

Overall, if I could give this restaurant 6 stars, I would! Loved both experiences here and would definitely come back and recommend this to friends!

Just a little note: before you eat here, make sure you have cash / Gcash as these are the only supported...

I’ve always been a loyal customer to Jang Geum. I can honestly say that it is one of the best Korean restaurants out there. I tried other Korean restaurants, but I always find myself going back to Jang Geum!! :)

Every time I walk in, the ambiance is always warm and inviting—perfect lighting, great song choices, and a relaxing vibe that makes me feel right at home.

The service has always been outstanding. All the staff are accommodating and friendly. They are always attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and offer great recommendations. You could tell the staff truly cared about providing a top-notch experience. SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO JANELLA FOR BEING THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE BEST EMPLOYEE THAT JANG GEUM HAS!!

Now, the food—absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into every plate.

To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable for the level of food and service we received. This place is a true gem, and I can't wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable meal!

If you haven’t tried Jang Geum yet, you’re missing out so much. Jang Geum, as I also call it as ‘GEM-Geum’ is really a...

If you’re looking for an authentic Korean BBQ experience without needing a plane ticket to Seoul, Janggeum in Pasay is the spot. Having been to Korea myself, I can confidently say that Janggeum captures the flavors, atmosphere, and service that remind me of the real thing.

What I love most is that they focus on quality over quantity—from the freshness of the meats to the well-balanced banchan (side dishes) that actually taste homemade, not frozen. Their samgyeopsal is always fresh. You can tell they care about the ingredients.

The service is consistently great—staff are attentive without being overbearing, and they always make sure your grill is just right and your table is never left unattended. It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of, not rushed.

Perfect for people who appreciate a legit Korean BBQ experience and are after real flavors instead of just an eat-all-you-can gimmick. If you’re after quality, but also a full stomach, Janggeum is...

I’m ruing the fact that I won’t be able to eat here as often as I’d like—it’s just too far a drive from where I live. But if distance weren’t an issue, I’d be a regular. The food here is fantastic, and their neon sign that reads “Korean Soul Food” couldn’t be more accurate. If they ever open a branch in QC or even Makati, a great cloud of love and happiness would descend over Metro Manila. Every dish—from pajeon, yukhoe, and galbi to kimchi soup, steamed eggs, and jajangmyeon—is seasoned and cooked with superb skill. Yet somehow, they retain that comforting, home-cooked essence that makes you feel like you’re eating in someone’s kitchen, not a restaurant. The space itself is a bit lacking in zen—boxes stacked here and there, and the CR could use a refresh—but honestly, you won’t care. I got unusually thirsty not long after eating, but with food this good, I didn’t care about that either.

We decided to have a samgyupsal lunch at Jang Geum Kitchen. As soon as we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly, which gave such a great first impression. We ordered the pork couple set — and honestly, the pork was the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, definitely better than what I’ve tried in other samgyupsal places. We also tried the rabokki, which had just the right balance — deliciously sweet with just enough spice, and definitely worth it for the generous ingredients. I also loved the Korean soybean paste stew with tofu and veggies, along with the Korean steamed egg, which made everything feel even more comforting. The restaurant itself was spacious, which added to the relaxing dining experience. Overall, the food was amazing, and the three of us left truly happy and satisfied.
