UCC 3rd Wave Clockwork — Restaurant in Pasay

This has got to be the WORST experience I’ve ever had in a so-called “premium” café. From the start, half the menu items weren’t available. Then we got stuck at a table right by the stairs where 3–4 staff kept going up and down. Every step on that metal staircase shakes the whole area. it’s unbearable.

I asked if we could move to another table. The staff just said yes (because it wasn’t cleaned yet). I thought, fine, we’ll wait and be seated there once it’s ready. Instead, they gave that exact table to someone else. No update, no follow-through, nothing. It’s like my request never mattered.

And try getting their attention? Impossible. They fawn over foreigners or people in business attire, but if you’re just a normal person, they couldn’t care less. The favoritism is so obvious it’s insulting.

What makes this a complete joke is that this branch is MORE expensive than UCC S Maison, for what??? The food? Average. The ambiance? Loud music and constant disturbance. The service? A disgrace. I would’ve been treated better in a fast food chain.

I finally stormed out because I couldn’t take the disrespect anymore. Not one person apologized. First they told me the only free tables are the ones I can see (so basically, figure it out yourself). Then they said they’d transfer me. Then suddenly offered a “VIP room” only after I was pissed. So unless a customer explodes, you won’t treat them decently?

To make things worse, the staff even denied my request, like I made it all up. They basically called me a liar. ARE YOU SERIOUS???

My sister and I decided to try this place out today (4/3/23) for morning brunch. We arrived at 11:50am greeted and showed upstairs to be served for sit down. We were ready at 12pm to order. We kept waiting and waiting to be served. It was already 12:20 and still haven't been asked what we would like to order by our waitress. I finally got impatient; our waitress took a group's order before us that just arrived. Once I finally told her we are ready to order, she said to wait a while and went to another gentleman and served him who also came after us. No apology or anything. Thankfully, she asked another person to take over. Our previous waitress doesn't look like she can handle her job and is too slow and not very observant of her surroundings. Go elsewhere, you have to dress business-like or be in a group to be served well here. Little do they know I'm a great tipper, but definitely won't be tipping today.
