2nd Update: Return visit on 4th and 6th April 2025.

Just love the sliders here. A must visit for me every time I am in Manila. Service is much better. They seem to have the option of ordering from the staff now rather than forcing you to scan the QR Code (which requires a local number to order).

The basic Pound Slider is tasty enough but the crispy chicken slider just blew me away.

The manager/supervisor (guy in black shirt) is extremely proactive and helpful. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Update: Return visit on 16th Nov 2024.

My thoughts: They gave me a printed menu (I dislike scanned digital menus) but 2 items I chose both are no longer available. Was finally told that the printed menu is actually obsolete and the only way to see what is actually available is “scan the QR code for a digital menu. 😡

Ordered a San Miguel Pilsen and was surprised that they served it in a can (supermarket stocks cheaper than bottled stock that’s usually delivered to F&B establishments? I don’t know). Saving grace was the fact they also provided a metal mug.

Ordered 2 sliders - both as tasty as ever. Kudos to the chef.

Service is spotty but the staff do try to help as best they can. Certainly can’t fault their effort.

Been here several times. Thought I might list down my thoughts.

Have read a number of reviews that have not been too kind to the servers. Must say I had a good experience. Friendly and helpful.

I always order their sliders here. On this visit, the meat patty was a little dry. Flavours were still delicious.

On this occasion, I also ordered some onion rings. It was just OK but I did not like the accompanying BBQ sauce. Tasted funny to me.. but taste is personal I guess. Not sure I’ll order this...

🍔 POUND by Todd English – Sleek Gourmet Burgers in a Retro Tunnel Diner

Visited: Lunch / Light dinner Location: SM Mall of Asia, Main Mall Type of Visit: Casual but elevated dining experience

🧱 Ambience

POUND offers one of the most aesthetically striking interiors in MOA. The arched brick tunnel ceiling, polished black-and-white checkered floors, and ambient lighting create a vibe that’s equal parts vintage diner and upscale speakeasy. Whether you're sitting at the sleek bar or the cozy booth-style seating, it feels like you’ve stepped into a modern-day classic.

🍽️ What They Serve

This place specializes in premium burgers, truffle-infused sides, and comfort food classics with a fine-dining presentation. It’s part of the Todd English Food Hall concept — so expect creativity and detail in every dish.

Menu Highlights:

T.E. Burger – juicy, flavorful, and beautifully stacked

Truffle fries – a must-try (crispy and aromatic)

Poutine, sliders, and pasta dishes also available

Copper mugs on display hint at their drink menu – think mocktails and cocktails (ask the server)

🧑‍🍳 Food & Service

The staff are attentive and professional, matching the semi-upscale vibe. Dishes come out well-presented and portions are satisfying without being excessive.

💸 Price Range

Burgers: ₱250–₱450

Fries/Sides: ₱120–₱200

Pasta: ₱280–₱400

Beverages: ₱100–₱200

Great value for what feels like a gourmet burger joint without the pretension.

⭐ Overall Rating

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5) What Makes It Stand Out:

Beautiful interior

High-quality comfort food

Ideal for dates, solo treats, or...
