Service was extremely bad. When we were sat at a table (8-person table despite us being 3 only when there were other 4-person table open), it took a long time before we were given a menu. We ordered some food but on the drinks section, the waiter told us that there wasn't any alcohol-related drinks available anymore so we had to order something else. But it was quite obvious that it was a lie given that they had served it to other customers. We look young and the waiter probably assumed that we were underaged, but she could've asked for our ID to confirm our ages.

The food took a rather long time to serve.

Fish and chips was very bland. The pizza was ok, wings could be better. The truffle pasta isn't really great, except for its presentation.

The proportion of drinks given to us was also different. We ordered coffee that had expresso at about 30% level, milk 40% more, and milk bubbles for the last 40%. The same drink was ordered by others and they clearly had more expresso and milk. Same case for mojitos(without rum because apparently it's a no). After almost done eating, we told a waiter to bill out. 20 minutes after, we were done eating for some time already and no news yet. We told another waiter that we're billing out. 10 more minutes and nothing, we decided to go to the front desk and pay it instead, and how quickly did the waiters clean our table right after.

The entire experience was terrible, service is terrible, food is meh. Do not recommend dining...

This was my worst experience at Single Origin, ever.

I've been to Single Origin in Makati, BGC and Alabang plenty of times. Never had any problems - food, coffee and service were good.

At this MOA branch though - we went on Saturday around 11:45am, approaching lunch time. One single waiter was there to service the entire place, which was filling up quickly.

We wanted to order a vanilla late - not available. In fact, none of the flavored lattes we're available. Got a Peruvian Mocha and Cappuccino instead, which were fine. The mocha was definitely on the milkier, less flavorful side compared to the other SO branches, though. Cappuccino was good.

Time to order food. Corned Beef Benedict? Unavailable. Everything with corned beef was unavailable, which is a significant chunk of their brunch menu. My backup, the Turkey and Cranberry sandwich - also unavailable. So I settled on a Philly Cheese steak sandwich - which was served eventually, but it was ice cold. The cheese sauce on top literally tasted like fresh out of the fridge and the beef was still cold. I'm not one to complain normally, but I did this time. The staff replaced it with a new one, which was hot. The meat in the sandwich however, is mediocre at best.

We also had the blueberry french toast, which was good.

Overall, an awful experience. Never coming to this branch again, and wouldn't recommend anyone to come here either. Go to their Makati or BGC branches, they're...

I thought they were a specialty cafe but don't get your hopes up...the establishment is just called single origin not even the beans they are using is single origin, instead they have a blend... Brazil and panama (the roast of their coffee beans were a mix of dark and medium roast during the time I went there)

I ordered for double espresso to go but then I decided to stay instead to witness everything...hahahaha

after I tasted the espresso I then ordered Iced Americano since the blend will be good in it, it was more on the bitter side. It took 5 minutes for the barista to send it out and the shot was preextracted not freshly extracted (how would I know? because I am just sitting across from the bar and there are only 5 sets of table to be catered to ...it was not busy.)

I also ordered for their Hot chocolate cheesecake which was ok but don't expect any HOT component inspite of it's name none of the components were hot. The only thing different about this was the candied chilli as garnish.

Overall... The ambience is cool and more into socials/brunch with titas because they have wine, sparkling water, pasta and sandwiches. The staffs are ok, polite, respectful especially the floor manager. Price for coffee is ok compared to your commerical one but the price of the dessert is a little pricey compared to the quality of the taste.

Will I recommend it? Maybe for some Titas of Manila brunch but not to have a...

Arrived a little after 10 in the morning. I came specifically for the croissant dough waffles, but unfortunately, they were not available. I ended up ordering a smoothie, which also wasn't available. So, I settled for ordering omelet and sausage. Surprisingly, everything except espresso was not available, which seemed odd for a place promoting various extraction methods. Ended up ordering an iced Americano. The interior had a nice contrast in layout with low tables, long tables for groups, counter tables, booth seats, and round tables. It had a trendy vibe but lacked coherence in the décor, feeling somewhat cluttered. It seemed more geared towards socializing than focusing on the food. The air conditioning was excellent. The food arrived in about 10 minutes. It consisted of carbs, meat, eggs, and vegetables, a typical breakfast menu. The waffle was terrible, resembling Binangkal more than a waffle. I thought it might be a typical pancake batter substitute, but it was worse than expected. However, the sausage was exceptionally delicious. It had a great flavor, balance of herbs, oil content, and size, absolutely perfect. The omelet was standard, made with milk, salt, and butter, and the salad was typical with grainy mustard sauce. The coffee could have been better with higher quality beans. The sausage was really good. I might revisit for that. If they have it next time, I'd like to try the croissant waffles.

Single Origin at MOA Square: A Great Coffee Stop with Room for Snack Improvement Single Origin at MOA Square offers a pleasant experience for coffee lovers, especially those who appreciate a decaf option. During my visit, I tried their Salted Caramel Latte Decaf and Truffle Fries, and both were enjoyable. The Highlights: * Salted Caramel Latte Decaf: The latte was well-made, with a good balance of coffee and salted caramel flavors. The availability of a decaf option is a definite plus for those avoiding caffeine. * Truffle Fries: The fries were tasty and well-seasoned. * Decaf Option: It's great that Single Origin offers a decaf option for their lattes. Overall Impression: Single Origin provides a good selection of coffee and a comfortable atmosphere. The quality of the drinks and the truffle fries was good. Potential Considerations: * Snack Portions: While the truffle fries were good, it would be great if they offered smaller portion snacks that would pair well with coffee, providing more options for those who want a light bite. In Conclusion: Single Origin at MOA Square is a solid choice for coffee, especially if you're looking for a decaf option. The addition of smaller snack options would further enhance the experience.
