Shore 2 Residences, Tower 2 — Local services in Pasay

We stayed in Sophia Suite Shore 2 Tower 2 for 1 night. The host and co-host were very responsive and helpful with my inquiries. The location is really convenient—just a short 5–10 minute walk to Mall of Asia, and there’s an Alfamart nearby for quick shopping.

The room was nice, though we noticed a few areas for improvement, like cockroaches in some spots and an unpleasant smell in the upper floors/elevator. The swimming pool isn’t free (₱150 per person), and towels are complimentary only for 2 guests, even if the unit can fit 4. Extra towels cost ₱150 each. There’s also no Netflix and no basic toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste provided.

Another thing to note is the parking fee, which costs ₱700. It’s much more convenient if you’re just using Grab, InDrive, or other ride services instead of bringing your own car.

The condo units are not that spacious, especially for 3 or 4 persons. There were three of is and we rented a unit with 2 double beds. It was hard to move around, you have to constantly give way to one another. We’re just a family of three. But if you plan on using the condo as a sleeping place, it’s good enough. There are street food stalls downstairs and an Alfamart convenience store. There are Chinese restaurants nearby. The problem for guests is the lack of parking spaces.Pay parking areas are very small and the slots are very limited. We had to leave our vehicle at the Mall of Asia and ride Grab cars to and from Shore 2. The pool is large enough, there are enough lifts/elevators, and the lobby is large with plenty of chairs and sofa sets. Do not stay here. We booked an apartment through booking.com and left at 4am after checking in the same night.

It had the following problems as a cause of the building itself: cockroaches all over the room (we killed at least 5) and in the main hallways clogged sink in the bathroom

We also had separate issues from the care of the owner of the apartment, including: broken bed frame broken couch leg dirty bathroom (especially mirror)

The place was a complete disaster. We were lucky another hotel had availability for us at 4am.

Booking.com was unwilling to help at all.

Arrival was also a pain in the ass, as you check in with security guards downstairs and then have to wait for someone to show you upstairs. The person who brought us upstairs didn't even know the apartment we were going...
