GOTO Believe has always been one of our go-to spots. We're proud to see that they've expanded to a new location that now offers both dine-in and al fresco options. We first started dining with them during the pandemic, and we've been fans ever since.
Tonight, we visited again and initially requested to be moved to a table near the air conditioner. We asked one of the staff members, Renzy, if we could switch tables. The place was full, and the only available tables were small two-seaters with high chairs. Renzy offered us a table near the entrance, but that wasn’t the spot we preferred.
We politely asked a second time to be seated at a table beside the aircon, which had a laptop and some snacks (like Indian mango and plastic-wrapped treats) on it. Renzy declined again, saying the table has a laptop so we thought the the laptop was from the customer. At first, we let it go, but since we couldn't feel the air conditioning from where we were. We saw Renzy eating the indian mango on the table that we preferred. We tried again—this time asking a different server named Kim.
Kim was very polite and accommodating. He quickly cleared the table, put the laptop aside, cleaned up the mess, and made us feel welcome. Clearly, the table was available—so it left us wondering why Renzy declined our simple request not once, but twice.
We love the food and always enjoy the menu, but Renzy’s attitude tonight was disappointing. She came off as unwelcoming, somewhat sarcastic, and indifferent to our comfort. We hope she can be trained further on proper customer service, good manners, and professional conduct.
Kudos to Kim and the rest of the staff who made our visit enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back—but hopefully with better service from...

The Lugaw Essential at Goto Heaven was a standout dish. The warm and comforting bowl of lugaw was packed with rich flavors and topped with a variety of delectable toppings. The combination of tender meat, aromatic spices, and the smooth texture of the rice created a delightful harmony of flavors that was both satisfying and comforting.
The Tokwa't Baboy was another highlight of the meal. The crispy tofu and succulent pork belly were perfectly cooked and complemented each other wonderfully. The dish was elevated by the tangy and savory sauce, adding an extra layer of deliciousness to every bite.
To quench my thirst, I tried their Gulaman, which was a refreshing and sweet treat. The drink was perfectly balanced, not too sweet nor too bland, and had just the right amount of jelly to add a delightful texture.
Lastly, the deep-fried Chicharon Bulaklak was a true indulgence. The crispy and flavorful fried pork intestines were a delightful combination of crunchy and savory. It was a perfect accompaniment to the main dishes and added an extra layer of texture and taste to the overall meal.
The ambiance of Goto Believe was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff who provided excellent service throughout my visit. The menu offered a wide variety of Filipino comfort food options, and the quality of the ingredients and attention to detail in each dish were...
Read moreJust like Goto Monster and, to a much lesser extent, Gotobox, Goto Believe strives to elevate the humble goto and tokwa’t baboy to a more upscale culinary experience, and all three mostly succeed in their own respective ways.
Whereas Goto Monster offers more choices of toppings for their lugaw (i.e., beef tripe, chicharon bulaklak, shiitake mushroom, pork bagnet, or chicken adobe), and Goto Gotobox is more generous with their servings, Goto Believe’s wins in the flavor department. Goto Believe’s Tokwa’t Baboy is also better than Goto Monster’s Tokwa’t Bagnet, but I prefer the latter’s Tokwa’t Chicharon Bulaklak.
Anyway, in itself Goto Believe is a good, reliable place to satisfy your goto cravings, and is worth coming back t. (They have other menu items too, but we haven’t tried them.) Their staff are also good, helpful and efficient, deserving 4 stars (I reserve the 5 stars for the best staff).
The branch we went to was their Kapitolyo branch, and we went there at around 5pm on a Saturday, so we easily found a parking spot in front of the place itself. On peak hours expect parking to be a challenge, as is for most of the restaurants along West Capitol and East...
