Today on Saturday, 19 October, 2019 my friend and I went to BeanLeaf at SM Mall Puerto Princes for coffee and cake at around 5:30 pm . The place was crowded and as I stood in line to order my friend tried to find a table for us to sit at. The only table we were able to secure still had the garbage of the customers before us. So when I ordered I told the employee to please clean the tables (I noticed other tables had garbage on them also). I told the employee twice in a polite manner and she said she would. When I went to the table I saw that the garbage was from Dunkin Donuts. We waited a very long time for our orders but not because the employees were lazy. They were running around fast to do their work. Obviously BeanLeaf didn't have enough workers. Still we waited a long time and when we were just about to cancel our orders they called us. I got our orders of blueberry cheese cake, velvet cake and coffee and asked again that they clean our tables. There were no trays provided to bring our food to our tables. It took me 2 trips. And still the garbage was on our table as we began to eat and no one came to take it away! The cakes were not fresh. The velvet cake had become hard. The blueberry cheese cake was too sweet and the texture had become like sticky glue. It was so bad we left without finishing our food. Later when we got home both of us developed indigestion and were burping up the cake. Then we both developed LBM (diarrhea). Hey BeanLeaf. You're new to town. Welcome! But I think your time here will not be much longer if you...
Read moreOn two separate occasions we've had to now purchase and provide our own soy milk for the blended matcha - not too much of a problem in the grand scheme of things, except the fact that you're then made to wait 20 minutes for those drinks, when there are more staff than actual customers.... considering this is a huge chain who shouldn't be in a position where they can't/won't cater for vegans or the lactose intolerant (when a supermarket is directly opposite in the same mall selling the soy milk), but there's a serious training issue on staff and their focus on service delivery and operating with a...
Read moreEdit: AC seems to be on full blast now. Bathroom seat is broken but you can still sit on it. Hand dryer doesn’t work. Sink faucet is loose? Not sure how it got to that point. Highlight is there is toilet paper and soap provided.
Plenty of seating which is also great.
No Wi-Fi and either the AC wasn’t running or you could barely feel it but good staff and some place to sit down inside with a bathroom before the rest of...
