NOT FOR CUSTOMERS WITH FOOD ALLERGIES:

Reserved a table for our son's birthday dinner via their hotline - informed them about our son's severe allergies and they proceeded to confirm our booking stating that it should be fine. Upon arrival, we were browsing the menu and were approached by a waiter, asking us to sign a waiver releasing them of any liabilities in line with my son's allergies. We have full understanding and have come to accept the risks of allowing our child to consume food prepared outside of our home BUT this is the first time we have been asked by an establishment to actually sign a waiver to be allowed to eat there. They tried to explain that it was their protocol -- this is fair. However, they should have informed us ahead of time so we wouldn't have bothered if they're the type of establishment that feels they must be protected legally when serving customers with severe allergies. We have dined multiple times across other casual to fine dining restaurants, we have been rejected service too because some are not equipped to handle customers with food allergies so we are fully aware of our limitations and are not demanding to be accommodated. Again, all they had to do was to inform us of their "protocols" beforehand so we wouldn't have considered eating here in the first place. Now, as we were preparing to walk away (imagine, this is supposed to be a birthday celebration!), we were approached again and were told that the waiver is no longer needed and that the kitchen will prepare my son's food with care instead. It's a strange workaround, I felt that they were only after sales at that point. Truly disappointing, but at least we know now that this won't be in our list of safe...

The meal was a mix of hits and misses, but overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience. For starters, the Okoy was outstanding crispy, flavorful, and hands down the best I’ve ever had. It set a high bar for the rest of the meal. The Pandesal and Ube were incredibly soft and paired beautifully with butter, bringing out their rich flavors. The Lumpiang Ubod was fantastic fresh, light, and well seasoned while the Sugpo was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful.

The Suam soup had a great balance of flavors, with the natural sweetness of the corn shining through. I really loved it. The Laing, however, was just okay it lacked the richness and depth I was hoping for. The Inihaw Tuna was another highlight, cooked perfectly to retain its moisture and tenderness. The Beef Adobo sa Gata was good, with a nice balance of flavors, though nothing particularly standout.

On the other hand, the Crispy Lechon Kawali Menudo had a rather odd taste that didn’t quite work for me. The Adobo Pancit sa Pusit leaned too salty for my liking, overpowering the squid’s natural flavors. For dessert, the Tibok Tibok and Kapampangan Halo-Halo were decent but didn’t leave a lasting impression.

Beyond the food, the overall experience was elevated by the outstanding service attentive, friendly, and truly welcoming. The ambiance was fantastic, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. This is definitely a great spot to visit, especially for balikbayans looking to enjoy familiar Filipino flavors in a warm and inviting environment. While some dishes stood out more than others, the exceptional service and atmosphere make it a worthwhile dining...

Amazing service and ambiance here. I don't even have to speak to have a refill or anything. The staff are very accommodating and friendly as well. However lets get down with the food which is the most important thing. Honestly I was disappointed after having a superb ambiance and a welcoming service. The garlic rice. (A staple Filipino favorite.) Really mushy and broken. I dint even finish the cup for the whole meal. Fix this please. Filipino restaurant's cannot serve bad rice. The crispy pata was testeless and not fried the way it should be. (What a shame.) Tasteless meat and chewy skin instead of crispy. The Laing was okay though I had to dig in a few times just to taste the coconut. The molo soup was great though very flavourful and done the right way. Overall the place and accommodation it comes with is really nice and pleasant but honestly I wouldn't come back for the food at all. There's plenty of room for...

Overall, Manyaman lived up to its name, and it’s clear why Solaire North’s restaurants are fully packed and patronized by the QC foodie community. The restaurants feel smaller than those at Solaire Entertainment City, and it seems they didn’t anticipate such overwhelming support from QC. Manyaman is perfect for family celebrations and for treating your balikbayan guests to familiar Kapampangan flavors in an upscale setting. The Beef Adobo sa Gata was outstanding, and I can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu. Congratulations to the Solaire North team for a job well done with the dining outlets in QC! https://awesome.blog/2024/07/manyaman-solaire-north.html

October 2025: My daughter was craving Filipino food, so we decided to try this place. She ordered pork sinigang with steamed rice, and I ordered bibingka with salted egg. This was by far the worst sinigang dish we have ever tasted. The dish wasn’t even sour and was creamy. I asked the restaurant manager what made it creamy. According to him, they used miso broth. It's okay to make a dish unique to stand out, but they should have respected the traditional flavor of sinigang. I also cook, and I use miso broth with fish sinigang, but never with pork. I also didn't like the Bibingka. It was doughy and the taste wasn't good.
