TLDR: Food is very inconsistent and you're paying for the dining atmosphere and not the food.

I've dined here so many times, probably in all months of the year. I would say only once or twice did I feel satisfied with what I ate. Where do I even begin. For years, ever since their inception, some of their food selection in the buffet was just plain disappointing. The seafood in particular is the worst offender because squid for instance felt like you were eating rubber, tasteless and difficult. Once, there was an instance where their Japanese-themed buffet was actually good, this was last 2023 I believe, but the following year, 2024, all quality went down the drain. Ok, there's too much to say about the food, so I don't want to be too scathing anymore. The upsides at least are the grilling stations because at least those tasted decent. In summary, the Filipino section is probably the most consistent section, everything else is highly dependent on their staff, of which I will get into next.

This place rotates their staff, relying on new-hires to man certain stations. Sometimes, these staff are too green to the point that certain stations which are made-upon-order can't keep up when there's a torrent of orders pouring from people. They're nice, but nice can't make up for their performance. The servers on the other hand are attentive and kudos to them.

The primary reason why I keep eating at this place is that my family loves dining here for its atmosphere. Given the likes of other buffets in the area, this is greatly less hectic and a more pleasant experience to dine in at. What you're paying for in Misto is not the food, it's...

It was one of the best Buffet breakfast spreads we had.

Pros: The best pastry spread for me just because they are several croissants (plain and chocolate). Most buffets do not offer this. And it's the right texture, too. I'd be satisfied with just the croissants and the Danish bread. My wife loved the taho. She was looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint. In fact, she had 2 servings. The noodles area was great, too, with that green pasta, which adds an extra oomph. Hot coffees and chocolate drinks are given to you at your table. Refills, too. They have Splenda. Helpful staff. All very accommodating and always smiling. They have the following: champorado, aroz caldo, bacon, ham, charcuterie, eggs station, salad, fresh fruits, pancakes, waffles, juices and many more.

Cons: Wish there were more options on the main dishes (viands).

Tips: There is a dress code. They do not allow entry to those wearing sports attire, sleepwear, and swimwear, including slippers and micro shorts. They require sleeves for males. Come in early, 6 to 6:30am to really enjoy your breakfast. Waiting line started forming at past 7am.

Booking a reservation two months in advance was definitely the right choice. My staff and I had an amazing time—everything from the delicious food to the warm, welcoming service and the beautiful ambiance made it a memorable event.
