My experience in yakumi north is surreal!

I so love everything!

The food is super nice! Is like you are in japan, I went to japan several times and yes! this is what I expected. Most specially the steak and the seafood that they have and don't forget the desserts!

Let's talk about the customer service that they have! For me its 100%

Special thanks to Gino the manager who knows what he is doing and he really loves his work. He knows everything about the food and he is a good manager to all his staff and always smiling and very approachable manager. I observe all of the staff in yakumi and they have this good customer service well done! Gino!

And also to Gabriel who helps us in everything for me he is very dedicated to his work and I can see it from his actions and how he handles everything and always smiling.

Thank you also to Jericho who assisted us.

And by the way this is not just an ordinary buffet this is one of I kind buffet I ever had.

And for the management of yakumi and solaire those people I mentioned are the assets of your company.

Thank you again Gino,Gabriel and...

Arguably one of the best Japanese places in QC. Sashimi is melts in your mouth good. Salad dressing is amazing. Pork is juicy. Desserts are delicious, yet not overwhelmingly sweet. A dish I'd recommend? The grilled salmon belly.

Atmosphere was cozy and intimate. Located at a corner of the second floor of the building, you'll be protected from the noise of the next door casino. I recommend you reserve seats, as they can get busy.

Service was top notch. Aided by our server, Noel, he made sure our visit was serviced well. Most of our food was served quickly, although they were slightly late with our volcano roll, and definitely late with our watermelon shake. I can excuse it though, as we were attended to at a higher level than other restaurants would.

The menu is pricey, so don't expect this place to be somewhere you'd eat on a regular pay day, unless your payday is leagues above the average salaryman.

Had fears before I went here, as the rating was at a 2.5/5 out of six reviews at the time of reading. Glad to say that going here was a gamble...

Dining at Yakumi was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a calming, elegant ambiance.

The food? Absolutely exceptional.

Each dish struck the perfect balance of flavor, freshness, and presentation. The sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth fresh, the ramen rich and comforting, and the Volcano Roll — truly to die for! Every bite was a delightful surprise that left us wanting more.

What made the visit even more special was how kid-friendly the restaurant was. They provided coloring activities and ensured our little ones were just as entertained and comfortable as the adults. It's rare to find a place that goes above and beyond to make sure every guest, regardless of age, has an outstanding experience.

At Yakumi, both the front and back of house truly shine. From the attentive service to the masterful cuisine, they deliver on all fronts.

Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates excellent food, thoughtful hospitality, and a family-friendly environment. We can’t...

Yakumi’s Sunday brunch was a feast to remember. We went as a family and were immediately impressed by the sheer variety. From the dessert room to the sushi and sashimi spread, every corner offered something special. The tempura station was always busy, yet never ran out, and the separate seafood teppan and steak area made the experience feel even more indulgent. Service was attentive and genuinely warm, elevating the entire dining experience. At first, I thought the price was a bit steep, but after trying everything, I realized it was absolutely worth it. I’m already planning to bring my siblings here for a sibling date soon.
