Situated in front of the ABS-CBN building along Sgt. Esguerra, Mom and Tina’s Bakery Café has been a breakfast staple for me for over a decade. While new cafés continue to pop up in different places, this one remains one of the OGs, alongside Mary Grace Café. No matter how many times I visit, I always find myself coming back—it’s simply that good.
Their all-day breakfast menu is one of the best I’ve had, consistently delivering on both quality and taste. From steak and eggs to bacon and egg with hash brown, every dish feels homemade yet restaurant-worthy. Their chicken tocino is another favorite, and their bounce belly (a hearty breakfast choice) is just as satisfying. I just had the bacon and egg with hash brown today with my wife, and as always, it didn’t disappoint. The meal already comes with rice, making it even more filling.
Aside from their breakfast offerings, their pastries and desserts can definitely compete with some of the best in the metro. If I had the money to invest in expanding a café to rival the big names, this would be the one.
To complete my meal, I ordered their mocha, and it was perfect—smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. I didn’t take a photo this time, but I’ll make sure to capture more on my next visit.
Final Thoughts:
Mom and Tina’s isn’t just a breakfast café—it’s a classic that has stood the test of time. If you’re looking for comfort food, a cozy ambiance, and a consistently great meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly...

This particular branch definitely caters towards a trendier crowd, as the place is situated near the creative center of NCR where the TV studios used to be.
There is plenty of parking space within the establishment and you have some choices as you go inside. The aesthetic ambiance of the place is suited for afternoon get togethers or even romantic dates.
As we ordered some empanada and coffee, the empanada was quickly consumed that even I forgot to take photos of them before it was gone! The empanada was filled with little extenders. You could taste its higher quality. They also are not oily despite being deep fried, yet still juicy that it is not definitely air fried.
The latte I got was also great. Just the right amount of sweetness, yet the coffee punch is still there.
Servers were prompt and polite as well. You can easily tell that their employers take good care of them.
You can also order a bit of savory dishes as well as cakes and other pastries here. This is already a small chain with multiple branches and you know they are all company owned, because there is only a few of them. One of the downsides is their menu is very limited, but at least there is a steak house beside it.
Overall, a very nice concept coupled with reasonable prices. Whoever you bring here will definitely...

They even have a garden facade, which is really nice. Many restos suffered the blow of the pandemic, and this one was not spared. The seating capacity were lessened. But still, they have managed to maintain a good ambience. There are still couches where you can relax. They follow the no vaccine, no dine-in policy.
I curiously ordered the salmon & capers pasta, paired with cafe mocha. And it was really delightful. You would think that pasta would just tickle your tummy. But no....I was surprised because, it was served with 2 cheese breads, which is really heavy and delicious. The Mocha ☕ Coffee, wow...sweet aroma of coffee even if it's decaf. Its rich taste can even be savored even without cream & without additional sugar. I was really impressed and even took some home from the pastry. And it was really good. The chicken tocino is a must try. Tastes more like chicken hamonado.
I think i would come back for another round of "yummies". If you think the prices are pricey, give it a shot and you might find it also reasonable, as i did....
