Shakey's Pizza Parlor - Anonas — Restaurant in Quezon City

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

1. First experience - I dropped by after church service at the nearby St Joseph Shrine last Good Friday, April 18 around 5pm. I sat and waited.

There was a lone female server who was extremely absorbed in a huddle with two other dispatchers. One of those dispatchers noticed me and told the server.

Did the server approach me? NO

It was more important for them to continue their huddle so I left.

Don’t be deceived - this branch is not where you can expect basic, decent customer service.

Manager - check your staff roster for that day and time.

2. We ordered online last April 30. Isn’t it their proud boast that if they’re late they will make a full refund? NO SUCH THING.

The rider admitted he was late. We filed for a refund via their hotline number. The same message was repeated after 10 calls - that I am going to get the refund within 7-10 working days and for me to expect a call from the store manager.

Today May 14 is the 10th working day and after speaking to Janet the supervisor at their “call center” (Reference 2210854), there is still no resolution. Note that from the 6th call whenever I would request to speak to the supervisor, he/she was “always busy” and cannot take the call.

Don’t believe Shakey’s when they say they will refund if they are late. It’s FALSE ADVERTISING.

They couldn’t care less.

The whole system - the customer hotline, the Anonas branch staff and manager- they ALL couldn’t care less.

3. Only after this post was made did the duty manager Olin call. You’d think she would be apologetic? NO. Not only that she was very lacking in empathy.

I had to write this post/review if only to get results.

The manager’s excuse - it was an online transaction and they couldn’t refund it back. They offered to send the refund in cash.

If there was a solution why did they have to drag their feet?

Know that these reviews help whip up businesses to act right even if it’s too late to do a service recovery.

Looking at all the past reviews it seems that the Anonas branch historically does an exceptionally fine job at...

Been here atleast once for each of the past years (even before the pandemic). And for each visit, the service has always been slow. Today was no different.

Would take a while before we were able to get their attention. It probably would have been faster to just go to the counter/register to place an order.

Once we got to call one over, she was very polite and courteous when taking our order. They served the food within the expected time.

They took a very long time to process our payment ( via credit card). We ended up having to approach the register personally.

Seems understaffed. They were busy pushing out alot of orders for delivery. So diners arent made a priority.

I wouldn't come back here to...

Though the place is not that big.. the service of the crews are superb.. they give extra mile on top of their supreme service.. good place to celebrate small family gatherings.. i also love the promo they have every year.. very affordable but can serve 10 pax generously.. they also gave us complimentary dessert to show us their appreciation and thank us for choosing their place to celebrate our parents' 39 years of togetherness.. i highly recommend this place to those who are looking for a place to dine and celebrate special occasions with your family and friends.. good food and good...
