Ambiance is good Affordable food GREAT coffee - this is 5 stars for me

Rated 3 stars overall because of service provided. Im big on service quality

pancakes (see pics) served with dairy creme (hard, fresh from the freezer) no maple syrup until i asked for it and the servers reaction was, “oh ok po”

Wifey ordered sausage and french toast french toast was good sausage isnt the usual sausage you’ll taste as it tastes like longanissa. If it is meant to me that way perhaps an orientation / heads up from the server will suffice to help on decision making when ordering

Asked for a bday party celebration, venue availability and food and price down side: food tasting is not the food that will be served at your party or whatever your choice would be as per the lady with a long face and hair (awesome!! Why would i book again here?)

Wheatberry was a total unknown to me when my family was invited for a children's birthday party recently. It was a pleasant surprise. Everything was very simple, but just right for the occasion. Our party numbered about 50 people and the staff were friendly, polite and fast. We had a buffet lineup with rice, spaghetti, fried chicken, beef and a few others dishes. Once again very simple but just right. Good food and generous enough for the big and hungry to get seconds. I would definitely recommend this place for group occasions. If you are looking for 5 star luxury then no, but to entertain a group with young children...

Wheatberry is an old cafe that is in dire need of a glow-up. While the food is ok, if you’re a WB noobie, chances are you won’t be back for seconds. Why? Look around the QC gastronomic landscape and you will find countless cafes who can deliver better quality food. Better ambiance and an overall pleasant dining experience. Remember, these days, its not just the food that makes the customers want to go back, its the ambiance, the service and the combined impact of all these ingredients. But I’m not counting out WB just yet. There is so much time to improve....
