Hotel Sogo Timog 2 — Hotel in Quezon City

March 1, 2 and 3, 2017 2D, and 3N

It was a good experience at first food average, bed sheets average, though the people are good with handling guest. based on everything i went through on the first 2days that is.

Sadly, after waking up @ 6:00am, we prepared to eat our last breakfast and provide tip before parting with the hotel, we left all our belongings since we will only gonna eat for a bit, then we went down @ 6:30AM to eat breakfast, then finished eating @ 7:30AM, after coming back, we prepared to leave @ 10:00AM since our time is only up to 11:00 and my mother-in-law needs to go to the airport.. then preparing to leave, we count the money in our wallet, and realized that in every wallet, some money was lost, some 50Euros some 100php, and 500php, sadly the so called "SECURED ROOM" the "3* hotel offers" suddenly felt not so realistic anymore to us. then as that goes, we went to call the supervisor which then told us to write a "LETTER OF COMPLAINT" which is technically useless,. since the only thing we got after 6days is "PASENSYA NA MA'AM KASI, WALANG PROOF, KASO WALA KASING MAPAGBIBINTANGAN, UNFORTUNATELY TALAGA HINDI GUMAGANA YUNG CCTV sa floor na un, sa iba nmng floor gumagana (Transltion: I'm sorry ma'am, but we dont have any proof of who we can blame for that incident, it is seriously unfortunate that the CCTV on that floor was not working, unlike all the floors which the CCTV is properly functioning)" im just gonna ask, is that the proper way to justify the acts that was committed in a hotel where you can find "A SECURED ROOM, FOR A PRICE"

THIS IS A REVIEW FOR PEOPLE THAT WOULD STILL BE PLANNING ON STAYING ON THAT, the rooms in the 6th floor has no CCTV, and if you lost anything of value, you wont get anything in return, before leaving the room, check and count your money and luggage, to ensure that you can notice anything missing before checking out. in any case, just check everything before leaving. since we cant fit our 1.5ft x 4ft traveling bag in their .6ft x 1ft safe. which is understandably basic.

I booked in this hotel via phone call. The staff was courteous enough but as usual they needed the data for a credit card in order to assure the booking but when I receive the email it was immediately credited and it was not refundable. |The taxi which I hailed from airport knows the hotel and I arrive safely. The lobby staff are courteous but they let me stay until 2 o’clock since I arrive around 12 pm because it is there check in time. When I enter the room I was dismayed i never expect with the price of the room to be this small. There are no much amenities and furniture. The of the cabinet went off upon opening. The complement is the personal information of Brooke shields written on the glass door of the toilet. When you are using the toilet you will be reading it backwards. |When we went to restaurant we see the menu and order their main course and other. Well it took us 30 mins to wait but they say it earlier. When the food arrive it look sumptuous. The dismay comes in the wAiter. They did not have complete utensils. No serving spoon no bowl no waiter around. I went to the lobby to ask for assistance afterwards the waiter is nowhere to be found to ask for a spoon since i have no spoon only fork. Anyway the management should look into this. Many issues...

Had lots of problems with Icon Hotel. I did the reservation via TripAdvisor and when I was about to confirm my reservation, they told me that they haven't received it even I have a copy of the confirmation on my email. I even talked to some representatives from the Central Reservation to verify it and it took them 2hrs before they saw the booking under my name. I arrived around 4 in the afternoon. The Hotel looks good, it's bigger than any other hotels. I paid 1,760 php and I believe it is a premium room. They have free toothbrush, toothpaste soap and shampoo. The complimentary mineral water " Summit " doesn't taste like it's a mineral water.. It tastes like it's from the faucet and I even complained about it but no one aasisted me. The aircon is very small like a window type and it doesn't work well. I called the front desk and she told me that she will ask so someone can assist me but no one visited to help me on this matter. The bathroom is dirty and lots of hair on the floor. And it's very noisy even if I am inside the room. You can hear their stuffs talking out loud at the hallway and it's annoying! I think I paid too much and it's not even worth the price. I just like the idea of having a buffet breakfast. Recommend it to...
