This is a stylish, tasteful, lovely bar on a hilltop a short walk out of the village, with a great view to the islands and also of the moon at night. Drinks are great and reasonably priced. They do food … but I did not try. It is also a hostel … but I cannot comment cos I didn’t stay there. It is also 100% locally owned by the hospitable Aysha and family. They hav some incredibly cute tiny dogs … Rocky, Beauty and the really really small Micro … he is just a little bigger than a SanMig Pilsen bottle!
Update … returned, the chilled music is annoying hip-hop … I asked them t change it which they did. And I ordered the “masala” - of course they don’t have it … another of those fictitious delicacies on a menu. Why do these places have these things on the menu when they are always “not available”? Of course they offered me a burger instead … exactly what I do not want after too long eating disgusting BURGERS!! I wanted a MASALA CURRY! And ask for beers from the bottom of the fridge if you want them really cold! Sorry Moon Bar … I just dropped you a star. U need to get everything right for a 5! But still...

Also played good music between sets and the bar had a really good vibe. They even have a campfire. People working there are nice and kind people. Special thanks to Jordy for hyping everybody up even more than they already were! They played a few Dutch songs and the national anthem for the Dutch on Kingsday. Which was a fun way to celebrate Kingsday for a bit whilst being so far away from home. Thank you guys for the...
