Horrible Customer- Service. Won't come back. The food was a let down as well.
My friends and I came here the other night to hangout and have dinner. First, we requested to be reseated to a table that can accommodate 4 pax, servers took too long to find us a seat. We just decided to move outside ourselves. No problem. It was kinda humid so we still asked if there's an available seat but we were told that there is a table available but only for 3 pax. How cramped up are the tables to not be able to offer to move one more seat on the available table inside?! Anyway, I just convinced my friends that it's better that we're seated outside.
We looked at the menu and it's all appetizing, I couldn't even decide what to order for myself. I asked about the Palabok and the server described it as a very unique kind of Palabok but they used angel hair pasta which is only good for light sauces. It seemed weird to me so I changed my order to the pesto pasta.
We ordered Beef Tapa, Chicken Tocino Silog, Pesto Kesong Puti, Shrimp Bisque Palabok, Frozen Dark Choco and Almond Banana Berry for the drinks. They gave us some kind of chocolate bread with balsamic but the bread was stale. The beef tapa, tocino, and pesto pasta was okay but the Shrimp Bisque Palabok was a total let down, my friend couldn't even finish it. It didn't quite taste right for how it was described by the server.
We didn't mind all the bad things that just happened until we asked for our bill. I handed my PWD ID for some discount and when the waiter came back, he told me to pull out my Grab app as they have a discount code we can use. I pulled it up and the server only showed me the total and he navigated my phone to pay it up. I didn't even get to see our actual bill until I paid it off. We didn't leave right away so I reviewed our bill so my friends can pay for what they had.
I noticed that some of the items didn't have the correct price. We asked the server to hand us the menu again and when we checked, some items didn't have the correct price. I asked the server why is that because the menu claims that the price posted were already tax inclusive. He said that they just had the meeting early that day that they have changed the prices of some items. I said, that's not right. It's misleading and when it comes to rights of consumers, consumers are protected from right pricing, they should have either told us that the price has changed while we were ordering and/or honored the posted price. The server reiterated that they had a meeting early on and it is what it is, they just haven't printed out the updated menu. I said, well then, that's not our problem, we were not aware of this change and it shows that the bill and menu have two different pricing, this is not gonna be good for your business, we could easily report you to DTI if that's how y'all run this business. He just said, okay and then just left and never came back to us. He didn't even offer to get the manager or raise our concern to his superior, he just walked away.
Overall it's not a good business so we'll never come back. I do hope that DTI come...

As a seasoned food critic, I was captivated by the cafe's elegant ambiance, the symphony of flavors in their dishes, and the impeccable service that played like a harmonious melody throughout my visit.
The cafe's interior design exudes a sophisticated yet inviting charm, with warm wooden accents and contemporary touches that create a cozy and refined atmosphere. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the delicate scent of chocolate wafting through the air added to the sensory delight, setting the stage for a culinary adventure.
I began my exploration with the Chicken Tocino Benedict, a masterful composition of flavors and textures. The tender chicken tocino, a Filipino-style cured meat, was perfectly complemented by the richness of the poached egg and the tangy hollandaise sauce. The toasted English muffin provided a delightful contrast in texture, while the side of greens added a refreshing touch.
Next, I delved into the Beef Tapa, a Filipino breakfast staple elevated to new heights. The thinly sliced beef tapa was marinated to perfection, delivering a symphony of sweet, savory, and umami flavors. The accompanying garlic rice, a Filipino staple, provided a comforting base, while the sunny-side-up egg added a richness that tied the dish together harmoniously.
To complement these culinary masterpieces, I indulged in two beverages that showcased Auro Chocolate's mastery of cacao. The Cold Brew with Auro White Chocolate Cream was a delightful symphony of contrasts. The smooth, cold brew coffee provided a robust base, while the Auro White Chocolate Cream added a touch of sweetness and velvety texture. The combination was a harmonious blend of bitter and sweet, creating a refreshing and invigorating experience.
The Classic Dark Choc Au Lait, on the other hand, was a rich and decadent indulgence. The dark chocolate, made from Auro's single-origin beans, was intensely flavorful, with notes of dark fruit and a lingering bittersweet finish. The steamed milk added a touch of creaminess, creating a luxurious and comforting beverage.
Throughout my dining experience, the service at Auro Chocolate Cafe was impeccable. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing recommendations and catering to my every need with a genuine warmth that added to the overall ambiance.
Auro Chocolate Cafe is a culinary masterpiece, a symphony of flavors, ambiance, and service that resonates with every bite and sip. It is a testament to the artistry of Filipino cuisine and the passion for crafting exceptional chocolate experiences. I highly recommend Auro Chocolate Cafe to discerning palates seeking a culinary journey that will tantalize the senses and leave a...
Read moreWhen we arrived on August 23, 2023, it was nearly 7 a.m., and the café was still closed. We waited until they opened at 7:05 a.m. and then requested a table for nine. We requested the long table inside since they were unclear which table they would give. There was this rude female barista who looked to be irritable and aggressively whispered to the other male barista that he couldn't let us in. Because the other tables in front were already marked reserved, we inquired where we might sit and if we could potentially get a long table instead so we could all be together because it was a farewell gathering for our manager. Despite the female barista's disagreements, the male barista offered us the long table inside. Two of us followed the barista, but I could not immediately follow since I could still hear this female barista softly ranting and even pounding the table. I couldn't stand what she showed us, so I told my colleagues to go find another café instead. We were their first customers in the morning, and we requested gently, but we were served with a poor attitude and roughness. We were extremely disappointed since the café looked beautiful, but this female barista's attitude was terrible. I hope management takes measures to improve their baristas' attitude toward their consumers. We didn't get the female barista's name since we didn't want to become even more disappointed and worse make a scene, but there were only four of them, two males and two girls. I won't ever go back...
