We ate here and ordered three sets of 3-piece wings with rice. Looking at the menu, we assumed that because it was listed as 3-piece assorted wings, we would get three different flavors. When the server came to take our order, we told them the flavors we wanted. The server kept asking us to repeat the flavors because they kept getting them wrong. We clarified our order several times, thinking that each plate would come with three different flavors of chicken—one garlic parmesan, one honey sriracha, and one honey mustard on one plate, and the same for the next. We thought we had communicated this clearly, and we believed the server understood.
However, when the server went to the cashier, the cashier asked if we were sure we ordered nine sets, which confused us because, based on our understanding, we should only have been getting three sets of assorted wings with three flavors each. The server came back to our table and asked again, and we reiterated our original order. The server did not correct our misunderstanding and proceeded with the nine orders of 3-piece wings. Imagine our shock when nine plates of 3-piece wings with rice were brought to our table—there were only three of us!
We tried to negotiate with the team leader because we couldn't finish all the food, and it was also an incorrect order. However, they insisted that we pay for all of it. We decided to pay, thinking they would deduct it from their end if we didn’t. Then, when we asked to see the order slip from when we paid the bill, they told us they would provide it. But when they returned it, we noticed that it wasn’t the original order slip—it was a new piece of paper with a “supposed” order that made it look like we had indeed ordered nine plates. We then asked for the original slip and discovered that the paper they gave us had been changed to show that we had ordered nine plates. This felt unfair, as it seemed like they were fabricating the document to cover up the mistake made by the staff.
We admitted that we misunderstood the menu and accepted responsibility, so we paid for it. But the lack of accountability during the negotiations, and the staff’s decision to fabricate a new order slip, speaks volumes. There was clearly a mistake on their part as well, and they didn’t correct us when we were ordering. The server could have clarified the order when we placed it incorrectly, and they could have faced us during the negotiations instead of hiding in the back.
We were open to discussion, but we felt wronged, especially when they fabricated a new order slip.
Overall, the food was okay, but the staff...
Read moreAMBIENCE: Located at the second floor, it took me awhile to figure out where the stairway was since it was my first time at this branch. Seeing that the branch was full got me excited and we didn't have to wait anymore since our friends were already inside. Dine-in space was pretty fair though it felt a little bit tight.
TWISTER FRIES; I've never had bad-tasting twister fries anywhere. Their version was delicious, hot, crispy outside, and soft inside. I can eat pounds of these without ketchup.
MOZZARELLA STICKS: One word: Super! As any good mozzarella stick would, the cheese would hardly break apart; you'd really need to bite it enough midway or you'll just keep on pulling. I probably ate most of the sticks at our table. :)
WINGS: We actually ordered a lot so I only listed what I could remember. I might not have photos for some too. :p Overall, all wing flavors had crunchy skin with some nice, hot, and tender white meat. Even with the sauces or powders smothered all over, skin remained crunchy.
Frankie's Classic Buffalo Wings: For a first-time visit, this was a good choice to start with. This was probably the most plain for me. It was actually good but the other flavors were much more exciting.
Hickory BBQ Wings: It's really hard to find something better than BBQ in my opinion. This flavor was solid and on top of my list. Scent of the BBQ was really strong as it climbed up my nose. Feeling was just as amazing when the first piece went into my mouth.
Salted Egg Wings: This is still a thing since I see salted egg chips being sold at every food fair and grocery store I go to. Twist for this flavor was the spice though it wasn't too strong, and the salted egg flavor was just right, not too salty.
Wicked Wasabi Wings: We had to try this! It is what you would expect with that uncommon spicy feeling, but at least the taste was tolerably delicious. I might've enjoyed two pieces.
SERVICE: Branch was busy but the staffers were alert and on their feet....
Read moreThe place is surprisingly not too crowded during Sunday lunchtime. Probably because there's more crowd in Goto Tendon downstairs. I ordered spicy Buffalo wings with Blue Cheese dip and I must say, if you want something spicy you should order the very spicy. It's not as spicy as I want it to be. I like the ambiance of the place, they have trendy ceiling lights and wall paintings. As for the service, the crew is attentive and prompt. They accept credit/debit cards, which is a plus for me.
Jun 26, 2020. I was so hungry and saw that they're open. Both entrance is available (the one for dine in customers and the one for GrabFood And Foodpanda) which gave an impression that the first door is for takeout/delivery while the other is for dine in. In fact, their forms have a checklist which gives an option if you wanna dine in or have it for takeout. Anyway, so I opted for dine in because I have errands to do and a takeout bag would be a hassle for me to lug around. I waited for my order and lo and behold, it's on a paper bag for takeout! I am happy with the fast service and the customer service, pero where would I eat this now? I avoided having confrontation with the staff, pero what the hell, place a signage na for delivery and take out pa lang din kayo!!! And don't put an option for dine in on your forms when you don't allow dine in. Of course di na yan machecheck ng cashier niyo kasi under the assumption sya na takeout lahat! Now my back is hurting because I have to place the brown bag in my backpack and I'm whining like a 3 year old because I haven't eaten and probably would have to buy food somewhere else that allows dine in. I know we're all adjusting to this new normal, but...
