I rarely post food review but the food here tasted so bad I have to. I love Filipino food and regularly eats at different restaurants so you can’t tell me I’m just not used to it. All the food we ordered were not good! I wasn’t able to take more photos because the food came separately and my friend and I were deep in conversation but we agreed never to go back to this restaurant! We ordered:
Longanisa - tasted Ok because it’s like any longaniza you can buy in the market;
Ensaladang talong (eggplant) - the worst! The bagoong was too overpowering and they added salted egg so it was too salty yet with bitter aftertaste. This is a big waste, we only tasted but didn’t eat.
Chicken curry - couldn’t taste the chicken or even the curry flavor because of the overpowering ginger!!! I told my friend to just eat the chicken.
Shrimp and squash veggie (forgot the name in the menu) - there were only 2 shrimps and they still have the black spots (uncleaned). The squash was too hard but that’s all I ate. The sauce was heavy but overpowered by the ginger (or maybe that was just the aftertaste of the curry ginger lol).
Ube shake - Ok taste but the price ar P295 is too much. We went to Shang after and it was half for a better drink and ambience.
Ambience - Ok Service - typical Filipino friendly staff
Not recommended. We felt ripped off after paying P2,500 for 2 and still hungry (coz we couldn’t eat some). Eat Filipino food...
Read moreHad a really nice dinner experience here with friends after work. We ordered the sisig, gising-gising, pancit tapa, grilled pork belly claypot rice, ginataang hipon, and pako salad. Honestly we were stumped on what to get kasi it's mostly lutong bahay, but everything was so yummy!!
The ginataang hipon was really good, and it had the best kalabasa I've ever had lol. The pancit tapa has become something I'll be craving for the rest of my life, very comforting yung lasa. Claypot rice was super yummy, we scraped the stone bowl to get every last bit of it. Personally, I would have prefered abitsuelas/Baguio beans sa gising-gising, but ok naman lasa ng sigarilyas! Sisig was sooo yummy, very sinful lang so we didn't finish it, but I took the leftovers home kasi ang sarap hehe. Pako salad was so so yummy and fresh! Mabilis naman the service even with a full restaurant, they have plenty of staff to accommodate guests. The place is so cute!! The hanging chairs were so interesting. Despite the high ceiling, it's a very intimate setting, very cozy ang lugar. I looove the floor tiles. Happy that Wildflour decided to rebrand Little Flour cafes to cater to local taste, masaraaap ang food. Thanks, Ms Jelyn, for handling our very magulo group 😁🫶 Can't wait to get food again at George &...
Read moreThe standard has dropped. Used to be 1 of our favorite place for breakfast or catch up with friends. 1 year ago, I wrote them a review and gave them a 4 stars. But after today's experience, I can only give them 1 star. The coffee was sour today and service was terrible!
We asked what was in the Cremedettes. The gentleman at the counter told us it was Matcha. And it doesn't look anything like Matcha, bcos it was brown in color! Another lady walked past and over heard and corrected that they were Nutella (not Matcha).
They also gave our order to the wrong table. After a few seconds, they took our order back from that table and served the same plate to us. We are still in the pandemic. And those people were talking without mask with our food their table.
When coming to payment, I noticed there was a price difference on their receipt and menu (pls ref to my photos). When we asked the manager, she told us that the price on the menu is incorrect. I felt cheated that we were charged more than what was published. If they decided to increase the price on their food, they should change their menu to reflect the same. Otherwise, it's like day light robbery! I do not know what else on the menu has the wrong price. So beware when...
