We had a disappointing experience at Ikkoryu Fukuoka in SM Aura today. Despite dining with a child, no one proactively offered a spoon and fork, which would’ve made things much easier. More concerning was a spill accident that happened during our meal—no staff approached to clean it up, even though it posed a clear slip hazard. It was still there when we finished and billed out. Expected more attentiveness and basic safety measures.
Updated review as of Aug 9, 2025 This is not the first time we’ve ordered here, but it seems the service is negatively improving. The gyoza was tasty and served quickly, and the ajitama was flavorful and a great value compared to Ramen Nagi’s Butao King. Drinks were served right away, requests like a spoon were accommodated quickly, and the billing process was smooth. However, some service lapses and the overall dining experience left room for improvement.
Suggestions for Improvement: Confirm orders and intended recipients before serving to avoid mix-ups. Set clear expectations for dish serving times, especially for items that take longer to prepare. Adjust background music or noise levels for a more comfortable dining...

If you’re looking for an affordable Japanese ramen fix, Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen is one of the best options in town. Prices range from ₱268 to ₱400, making it a great budget-friendly choice without sacrificing flavor.
Ajitama Tonkotsu – ₱268 The broth is rich, creamy, and pleasantly balanced—not too salty, which makes it easy to finish. The noodles are thin, with a soft-to-medium bite. However, the pork chashu could use some improvement; it was slightly burnt and not as tender as expected.
Gyoza – ₱180 You’ll get six pieces of small gyoza, freshly cooked and lightly crisp on the bottom. They lean more on the steamed side with a subtle crunch, making them a nice companion to the ramen.
Service Service is fast and efficient, but the staff could be a bit more welcoming with smiles to enhance the overall dining experience.
Overall A solid value-for-money ramen spot, perfect for satisfying cravings—especially on...
Read moreI've been a regular at this restaurant for a while now, and it has always been one of my go-to spots. The food is consistently good and the menu is streamlined, which makes ordering a lot simpler compared to similar places. Their ramen, in particular, is tasty and reasonably priced for the portion size.
However, I've noticed a clear drop in service recently. The staff no longer seem as welcoming — they act like serving customers is a chore, often frowning or appearing irritated. Even the manager, an older gentleman, seemed off; when I paid my bill, he wasn’t outright rude, but his demeanor was unwelcoming and felt disrespectful.
I still enjoy the food, but the declining service takes away from the experience. I hope management takes note, because the quality of the food deserves a level of service...
