A Delightful Event at Tsokolateria

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tsokolateria, a restaurant known for its Filipino breakfast specialties like tsamporado and tsokolate, as well as innovative Filipino dishes. Here's my review based on different categories:

Ambience (4/5): Tsokolateria has a charming and cozy atmosphere, blending traditional and modern elements seamlessly. The warm colors and Filipino-inspired decor create a welcoming space that enhances the overall dining experience it extend it filipino vibes to its utencils which i love the most.

Service (4.5/5): The service at Tsokolateria is awesome. The staff is alert friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They suggest recommendations and made sure our dining experience was fun. slight delay in serving our dishes during peak hours is expected but its all good.

Payment Methods (4/5): Tsokolateria accommodates both card and cash payments, providing convenience for customers. The payment process was generally smooth, but a more prominent display of accepted cards would be helpful.

Food (4.5/5): The highlight of the dining experience was, undoubtedly, the delicious Filipino breakfast offerings. The tsamporado( dark rice with chocolate ,with crunchy tuyo or bagnet like pork strip) and tsokolate were a delightful combination, capturing the essence of a traditional Filipino breakfast. The menu also featured some innovative Filipino dishes that showcased a creative twist on familiar flavors. The presentation was appealing, and the portions were reasonable, ensuring a satisfying meal.

In conclusion, Tsokolateria is a fantastic spot for those looking to savor Filipino breakfast classics and explore inventive local dishes. Tsokolateria has the potential to be a top best choice for those whoa re searching for a delightful Filipino...

good morning breakfast at tsokolateria memories ☕️🍳

my family would have differing opinions from me, but i appreciate well-conceptualized restaurants who go the extra mile with making the ambiance and the vibe work of their concepts ✨

i like pizzazz and being extra, in very specific moments and experiences (in food, especially), in a way that i have accepted. my sister and i share this. we care about the presentation because we make it a point to eat with our eyes first before the actual devouring and tasting of flavors 😌🍃 it’s actually therapeutic, if i do say so myself

i’m saying this because everyone else aside from me found the thick mugs and cutleries so unnecessary, but half the time in my head i was thrilled 😁 their food isn’t necessarily mind-blowing, but it’s good, well executed, and deep-dives in presenting classics fancier...

Loved the ambience of the place, it feels so posh and homey at the same time. The servers were great, they were well informed, composed and warm. The menu was basic filipino food just spruced up with presentation with a little twist of chocolate to connect it to the whole concept of the resto. My daughter loved the mushroom soup, we didn't get why there was chocolate on the side, whether we mix it with the soup or dip the bread sticks there. In my opinion the soup could do away with the chocolate, but then again we have to stick to the concept of "chocolate" :). However, it was not a big deal for me, because the food overall tasted good. Maybe the downside was it was priced a bit higher than usual, but again, your not paying for the food alone but the service, and atmosphere as well. I suggest you give it a try when your...

Superb use of local ingredients! Magnificent dishes made with local ingredients with a twist. Only ordered two dishes for a light dinner, Shakshouka and Roasted Kalabasa and Quesong Puti soup. Paired those dishes with their hot chocolate, tsokolate ah. The shakshouka was light but filling. Even if it was a tomato-based dish, it was not acidic. The roasted kalabasa soup was not like any other I have tasted before because of the chunky strands of kalabasa. It was creamy because of the quesong puti but it was a perfect balance of creamy and savory. Their chocolate was smooth, rich, and velvety, which reflected the taste of the local cacao beans used to make the drink. Servers were attentive and the atmosphere was great. Not that much noise when we went there. Minus star because the server from another table broke a glass near us.
