Crispy Sisig: 10/10 Watermelon Sinigang: 9/10 Laing: 10/10 Kare-kare with Oxtail: 10/10 Lumpiang Bicol Express: 6/10 Garlic Rice: 10/10 Ube Sago: 10/10
Price: prepare 500-1000 per person. We paid P4,030 for the items above, all medium sizes (except for 1x large crispy sisig & 3x large garlic rice), good for 4 pax.
Sizes: Small is good for one, Medium is good for two, Large is good for 3-4 but only if you'll order multiple dishes. Otherwise, you'll go hungry if you'll only order one dish.
Service: very efficient staff, polite, and attentive. A little bit of culture shock because they just mixed the sisig tableside without any warning. I understand some restaurants do tableside service but I don't think sisig is a food that needs this gimmick. Not everyone appreciates watching their food being played with.
Location: 2nd Floor SM Aura, compact yet organized. A little bit of waiting time but fast-moving line. No comfort room but not a deal-breaker at all.
Busog Factor: 10/10 busog for P1,000 per person. Ate dinner, felt full till the following day.
Food Temp: only the sisig and watermelon sinigang were served warm. The rest were just lukewarm (which is totally fine).
Food: Crispy sisig - straight up sisig, really crispy even after an hour. It has no egg so I'm not sure whey they had to mix it tableside LOL. Anyone can finish this in one sitting because it is that good. Perfectly paired with garlic rice and kare-kare with oxtail.
Watermelon sinigang - a must-have. slightly sweet but feels like a warm hug. perfect for sharing.
Laing - slightly sweet, not spicy at all, very creamy, and a little bit oily (which I love), would definitely recommend. My favorite tbh.
Kare-kare with Oxtail - my brother's favorite. This is a food you'll want to serve to foreigners. A crowd pleaser. This and crispy sisig are a killer combo.
Lumpiang bicol express - meh. It's actually not bad but nothing revolutionary either. Just okay. Will not recommend.
Garlic Rice - very garlicky and slightly oily (which I love) without being overpowering. Large is good for 3-4 but if we're being honest, it is only good for 2 because it is that GOOD.
Ube Sago - this I find so funny. Imagine Selecta Ube but in shake form. Unpretentious yet delectable. Served in a very tall glass, it is actually really good for just P150. It looks really pretty, too!...

Read moreFirst, I have the utmost respect for every F&B crew as I have friends and families who have worked on this field. This is not my first time eating at Manam, one of the indulgent brands from Moments Group. But sadly, me and my family have to be in a very unsavory and a stomach churning dining experience. For the record and respect for the place and squad of servers, they are very respectful and provided for our needs. Our food came, as expected being Manam, the taste, texture and food preparation will be exceptional even for the simplest dish. We ordered one of our favorite dish "sinigang sa salmon" , we had our 2nd serving of the sour soup that my brother found out there was a "hidden" tissue lying in between the salmons, we all then stopped eating due to the unhealthy surprise we are having/had. I rushed to one of the waiters, told the situation, they told me they are going to talk to the kitchen crew. After a few minutes the manager went to us and apologized. I had to tell him I need to talk to the crew who prepared the food. I told him what if something unsanitary is in the tissue and all of us gets food posioned? The manager then told us he will take my number so he can check on us. Was not really in the mood to thank the manager due to the situation, he told us our meal is free, gave us gift certificate and 2 desserts. We weren't able to finish our meal except for the service recovery desserts. We jusy stood and walked out of the place as we were really disappointed in the situation. We're hoping that nothing unhealthy is on the tissue. Picture...
