Max's Restaurant is a true gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Their famous fried chicken lives up to the hype â perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fact that it's served with banana ketchup is a delightful and uniquely Filipino touch that I loved. Beyond the chicken, their menu offers a wonderful selection of other classic Filipino dishes, all prepared with care and bursting with flavor. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a comforting and satisfying meal with family and friends. I highly recommend Max's for anyone looking for a taste of authentic Filipino cuisine and a wonderful dining experience. The Kare-kare was so good.    Read moreThe Guard on the door was the best. Proffesional and accomodating. The staff pretty well ignored us despite restaurant not busy. No personality and no customer service.Because we were Foreigners?? Ordered beers first, did not arrive. Ordered 3 meals and asked to come back for fourth order. 3 Meals arrived before taking mine. No beers yet so asked again. Smile less waitress returned with beers and dropped all at table. Beer and glass all over us, a meal and floor. Threw some paper towels at us and then moved table. Had to ask for replacement for obviously soaked beer meal. My meal still not arrived and had to ask for it. Arrived after others had finished their meal. Observed better reaction by staff to local people's. Racisit. Would NOT recommend even putting foot in the door other than to say hello...

Letâs talk about the good thing First, this branch in Forbestown had a renovation so now the restaurant is really cozy and beautiful. The staffs are also amazing, very kind and accommodating, always happy to serve.
Next the price is really expensive in BGC so thatâs understandable but I think we should get what we paid for in terms of the quality of foods, right servings.
We ordered Sinigang(all oily soup with 1 piece of meat), fresh ubod lumpia (This is great but so expensive, 159 per piece) and the worst pancit i ever tasted in my life worth 500 pesos for their regular set. The server said itâs for 3-5 pax? Super oily and very few.
Again, this branch should be successful but better...
