I am writing to express my DISAPPOINTMENT with the Kiddie Party I booked for my daughter’s 7th birthday last Saturday.
Misinformation: Initially, we were informed that we could prepare and set up an hour before the party since we booked two slots, so I arranged for the balloon supplier to arrive early. However, when I clarified this via text message, The staff member, said we would only have 30 minutes. To avoid conflict, we accepted this, despite it seeming like a misunderstanding.
Disorganization: I had to repeatedly follow up about what preparations and permits were needed for our suppliers but received no answers. They didn’t answer my calls, so I sent a text message instead.
Lack of coordination -We were told that there will 2 mascots Grimace and Birdie because we paid 2 slots but only Grimace came out so we had to inform the staff again so they ask another person to wear the Birdie mascot to join Grimace.
Rude and Disrespectful Staff: Responses were rude, repeating messages and displaying a poor attitude due to the misunderstanding about the setup time. She offered early setup without electricity and air conditioning, which seemed spiteful. This is unacceptable in customer service. Although we accepted the misunderstanding, her rudeness and lack of apology were intolerable.
Missing Meals: Despite the negative experience, I tried to stay positive during the event. We adhered to the 30-minute setup time, and I appreciated the host’s assistance, even tipping despite the lack of staff, which required us to help serve meals. However, after the party, I learned that some tables didn’t receive sundaes. According to my sister in law, despite them notifying the staff, the sundaes were never served. I only figured it out upon arriving home so I was not able to complain right after the event. Additionally, the chicken rice meal was served late, after some sundaes were already given out. This disorganization, coupled with insufficient staff, was deeply disappointing. Considering the high cost of the party, which required booking two slots due to the insufficient 1.5-hour coverage, the incomplete service was unfair. I could've complained at the venue but I only figured out
After the party, I messaged Audrey to provide the negative feedback but received no response, indicating a lack of care now that the party is over.
I will never recommend McDonald’s BGC Forum to my friends and will not book another party at any Mcdonalds branch....
Read moreI have to give up on this place. I was eating there at least twice a day. Orders often wrong or completely vanish and have to be made again from scratch. The kiosks NEVER EVER work for international cards and often don’t even work at all. Place is LOUD but mostly due to the hideous screeching music the staff blasts thru the store’s ceiling speakers. On march 12, 2023, I tried the place again, against my better judgement. I always enter near the eye glasses shop. Security guard nods. I nod. Every day, multiple times per day. Yesterday I started walking thru there and the guard JUMPED into position to block me and said nothing. I said I’d like to go thru please. He said no. This is exit only. HUH!? I stepped back and looked at his little gate. Sign said entrance. I showed it to him and asked if he understood that word. He did. I shrugged. What’s the problem? He pointed to a tiny sign next to it that said exit. He had strung a little plastic chain to block people from going in. They could go out. But they couldn’t go in THROUGH THE SAME SPACE INTO THE SANE HALLWAY. WELCOME TO THE INSANITY OF THE PHIL I walked around to another DOOR, went in, got my food. It was delicious. Halfway thru, a megaphone started blasting at volume 10. Some Mac employee girl was hosting a kids birthday party. It was far louder than any car horn, and INSIDE the eating area. SHE WAS SCREAMING INTO THE LOUDSPEAKER. Another employee came and told her to turn it down. She did, and when he left she turned it right back up. He came again and closed the door to the kids party room. So she cranked the volume even higher. Even with the door closed, all customer conversation was suspended. People Loki g around and tossing their fox onto their trays. I moved outside. So now two independent doors blocked her screaming, but it was still too loud outside to talk. I left my remaining food and walked away. My conclusion: there is no sentient management there. None. I’m done. I love the food, but they have driven me away far...
Read moreTitle: "Chilly Reception at McDonald's: Not-So-Hot Chicken Nuggets"
I recently visited McDonald's BGC FORUM BRANCH with high hopes for a warm and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience was less than stellar, particularly with the chicken nuggets.
The chicken nuggets, which are typically a go-to favorite, arrived disappointingly cold. It seemed as though they had been sitting for a while, losing their initial crispiness. The lack of warmth affected both the flavor and texture, making the entire experience subpar.
I was also disappointed to find that there was nothing new or exciting about the nuggets; they tasted like the standard fare without any innovative twist or freshness. It's disheartening when a fast-food giant like McDonald's falls short in delivering a hot and enticing staple.
In the competitive world of fast food, consistency and quality are paramount. McDonald's, known for its iconic items, should ensure that every visit is a positive and enjoyable experience. Sadly, this time around, the cold and uninspired chicken nuggets left much...
