Had dinner tonight with a friend of mine who has a bad nut allergy. We know nuts are used in a lot of Indian cuisine but we asked if there were any dishes that had no nuts. We were recommended a dish and reassured that there were no nuts in the dish. Our meal arrived and just on her first bite, she already was having difficulty breathing and was getting really itchy. We told the wait staff that she was getting an allergic reaction and asked if there were really not nuts in the dish. They kept insisting that there were no nuts after she was already getting a reaction. NO ONE ACTED WITH URGENCY AND ACTUALLY THEY MOVED REALLY SLOWLY. No one did anything and they were just standing there like a bunch of idiots. We payed (cashier moved like a turtle) and we rushed out to buy some medication for it because she was already having difficulty breathing.
When we got back, the manager in yellow would not even LOOK AT US. IGNORED US THE ENTIRE TIME AND TOOK NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR GOD AWFUL SERVICE. To add fuel to the fire, one of the wait staff walked up to us and told us that they didn’t punch the wine she ordered AND HAD THE AUDACITY TO MAKE HER PAY FOR IT AFTER WHAT SHE WENT THROUGH WITH THEIR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR OWN MENU.
My recommendation, FIRE EVERYONE THERE AND HIRE PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTUALLY COMPETENT AND GIVE ENOUGH OF A SHIT ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMER’S HEALTH.
Never going here again and anyone with allergies beware. They don’t care about you. With how slow they move, if a child got an allregic reaction there, they’d be DEAD.
The audacity of them to still say “Thank you” while we were leaving....

I must confess I am a Bollywood admirer for several years now, the treck to Greenbelt was always a pleasure, the most important part of food, taste, quality I have to say they delivered again with this new branch of theirs.
Upon entering Bollywood@BGC I was struck by the large number of India diners tucking into their meals with the traditional nods of approval and big smiles, simply put an Indian restaurant with happy Indian patrons is a good sign!
My only comments to the management is this;
a) Don't serve a client a dirty table cloth, its bad form in any restaurant, questions of cleanliness are raised, unnecessary in this case.
b) The price of the dishes is a bit high, I agree the food is delicious, clean, tasty BUT in my opinion this is borderline value for money
c) Portion sizes, way too small for the price being served. This is a new trend in BGC were prices are raising and portion sizes are being cut, I was hoping Bollywood would not secum to the trend, unfortunately they have.
In summary a nice ambiance, good food and a great...
Read moreI just got back from a 2 year isolation in the provenance. This was a place I had dreams about so I ordered as soon as possible. Food is still fantastic. I saw from the menu that the beer prices for dine in are still fair, unlike many places in this area. I already ordered 3 times in 2 weeks and am planning to dine in soon. A really great place if you like or want to try Indian food.
Really good Indian food. I have been ordering from their Makati branch for years. I live in Serendra and am so happy that they opened a branch here. I was a little disappointed on the opening day but it is now up to their usual high quality. I recommend this place very highly. Food is OK, not quite as good as Makati but the service is a problem. I think they don't like customers taking up thair cell phone and chatting time. Very cold and unfriendly. I rated them for the food not...
