Shi Lin Serendra — Restaurant in Taguig

I chose this restaurant based on its impressive 4.7 rating, which naturally set my expectations quite high. Unfortunately, the overall experience from the flavor to the service and atmosphere fell short. The pork in the dumplings had an oddly mushy texture, and the soup lacked depth of flavor. Considering the portion size, the price did not feel particularly reasonable, and I believe the taste and quality of ingredients could have been elevated to match the rating.

The serving sequence was rather puzzling: steamed items arrived first, while main dishes such as noodles, fried rice, or stir-fried plates came significantly later. Additionally, the noise level was disruptive, with certain guests speaking so loudly that I found myself startled at times.

Perhaps the issue lies partly with me I do tend to be particular when it comes to food, and I expect the price I pay to be justified by the quality...

I think this is one place that is not in the radar of most people who go to Bonifacio Hgh Street and Serendra. I think it's location in Serendra makes it a little hard to notice.

This place is quite good and their prices are very reasonable.

There are lots of seating inside as well as outside - perfect if you have a fur baby with you.

Get the dry noodles with peanut and chili sauce. Yum. The fried rice, steamed fish and chicken chops were also good. Add to that, their Xiao long baos are also on point.

Get a pot of tea and the Chinese meal is complete.

Just got out of this restaurant! And avoid this place, avoid this Serendra branch, bec the service of the manager was really really bad! I just remembered now that the last time I was there I noticed the bad attitude of the manager as well. Yes the lady wearing maroon all the time. She has no customer service at all. When a customer calls for service she ignores you, doesn't even get the attention of her staff. Maybe the owner needs to talk to this person. Sad that I like their xiao long bao. But there are a lot of Shi Lin that I can visit, just...
