Wangfu Chinese Cafe Serendra — Restaurant in Taguig

I love wangfu, particularly the north edsa branch. But sadly, our experience at bgc was quite bad that it ruined my parents' anniversary dinner celebration. We came early so the place was not crowded yet. We were told that our order will take about 20 minutes which was fine with us. About 5 minutes later, i requested that they add two bowls of rice. Then after 10 minutes I ordered 1 hakaw and 1 siomai coz my father was so hungry already. What came was 1 hakaw and 3 siomai so i had to turn down the 2 extra orders.

About 45 minutes in, the mains have yet to be served. Only when i followed it up that the soup came out. However, i had to follow up the other dishes again. So the chicken and pork finally arrived. When i asked for the rice, it was not listed in our order. Moreover, the staff refused to look at our area so i had to approach them to ask where's the rest of our food. Only then did the noodle dish came out. They even had to ask what's the rest of our order! They said the squid was not listed and yet the kitchen managed to cook it in 2 minutes. That was insane.

I really lost my appetite after that. I even had to drag my whole family to gelatissimo just to cool down.

Clean, brightly lit establishment in High Street serving Chinese. They don't have a big selection, but enough to satisfy most with a craving for Chinese. The crunchy sweet and sour pork with lychee is quite good, using the lychee instead of the usual pineapple is flavorful. Also the shumai on the "dim sum" list is excellent. Servers are friendly and place is very clean. All in all, a nice place to eat in the low to moderate price range. 10/29/2022 restaurant reopened after rodel a couple weeks ago. Really no big changes that were obvious, I think new tables and chairs and general cleanup, I guess. Food is still good with same friendly service.

A good place to eat. The place is quite sophisticated and servings are big (appreciated even by males, so perhaps, a lot for women who eat only a little or feel full with a half meal). Location is so accessible as it is just across Market Market Mall (just close by the circle around Market Market and Serendra. In Wangfu, you will enjoy satisfying food on your mouth and tummy at an affordable price. The staff are very helpful and kind for request esp when we had a birthday celeb and we had no match nor lighter with us, they went the extra mile to look for one and provided us with extra plates for the cake we would for our need that time. It can also be private enough for a couple date, a serious discussion or a business meeting. I think that if their staff would all constantly wear a smile as they wait and serve, it would complete a 5 together with all the mentioned great stuff...
