For the past few days, I have been going to this branch to order shots of espresso poured over ice in a plastic cup so I can add some coconut water in it - a really nice combo that is not on the menu therefore I need to make on my own after purchasing the shots. From Monday to Wednesday, I have been greeted and assisted by really nice cashier and baristas. Today, I was "assisted by" two EXTREMELY RUDE staff - Irene and Drei. Drei, initially took my order and was puzzled (likely because it was his first time hearing it) then just froze and seemed to be disinterested in proceeding to take my order. He then sought guidance from Irene, the cashier, who then told him, in her words "Bakit hindi nalang siya mag americano with less water, same lang naman un price" (in a condescending tone and facial expression). without, for some reason realizing that I was RIGHT IN FRONT of her, hearing every word and every hesitation to proceed with assisting me. This was a behaviour that no organization, particularly, a service provider should tolerate. Being tired is one thing, being RUDE on the other, is never to be tolerated anywhere by anyone. I then walked away dissatisfied and just waited for my order. I talked to a manager, Aaron, who mentioned that he will speak with these staff, hopefully he does. If I can be honest, there are a lot of people needing jobs, I hope there are enough for them. I hope we free space up for them by letting go of those who are not happy with what they do. Again, being tired is one thing, being unprofessional and being...

Every day I go to a Starbucks either in Makati or BGC and get the same order - doppio espresso, grande zen cloud tea, bottle of orange juice, a tall cup of ice and a roasted ham, egg & cheese sandwich. 585 pesos each and every day, and it's always great.
I was recently in BGC and went to this particular Starbucks for my exact same order. With the bottle of OJ in my hand, I asked for the doppio, asked for the tea, then asked for the cup of ice. The very friendly woman in a black apron and very short hair told me "sorry sir we don't give away 'free' ice."
"Free ice."
She then told me I could buy a bottle of water, because they dont "give away" ice.
Haynaku.
I suppose I shouldn't complain, it turned out to be a win-win. I politely put away the orange juice and walked over to the coffee bean at Rizal circle. Hadn't been in there before but it was pretty good actually. I might make a habit out of that. Glad I didn't make them suffer the burden and expense of putting some ice cubes into a cup while I'm spending my...
Read moreStarbucks coffee has same taste in every branches. What’s different were the ambiance. Net quad branch is a really busy coffee shop. I wouldn’t recommend everyone to stay in this coffeeshop. I would recommend to just have your coffee for dine out. Place is kind of disturbing. It wasnt solemn if that’s what you are really looking for in a coffee shop. Do not expect a quiet and peaceful environment in this branch. However, client were...
