We went here recently (Sept. 09) just to celebrate my younger brother's birthday. I've been searching online and accidentally found this restaurant. I had another option but my brothers and my mom chose Wild West just because it sounds interesting, so here are my experience.
We arrived probably 8 in the evening, and it was really packed inside. It was Saturday so I assume that many people were also out to had their dinner that day. I inquired for seats and waited for about 2-3 minutes before we had our table. I asked if we could just eat on the seats outside but they were thoughtful enough to consider the moody weather during nighttime. Already inside, the staffs were too quick to pick-up cues. They brought us a bowl of nuts, and it was really good. We consumed the whole bowl unnoticeably, and the staff assigned to us even asked us if we still want more. For the food we had 2 different orders under the Pork category, and 1 order under the fish/seafood category. I also ordered 1 from starters, 1 from soups, and a cake for my brother. The pork were tender, it wasn't dry and it still had its juices during the time I was consuming it. The portions were also suitable for the prices. Of course, I tasted some of my mom's and brother's orders, and the taste were consistent. I just wish that they would improve the broccoli soup. It was stated in the menu that it was "new" so I assume that they're still navigating the product. It didn't have that impact of being a broccoli soup, I assume it was probably a puree then made into a soup. Maybe they could add a lil touch of color (probably that would match the color of a broccoli to make it more enticing and appetizing, and make the food speak for its name) but the taste and consistency was really great. I couldn't elaborate more about the food, it was really affordable for a steak house, compare to other steak houses that are just too pricy.
The staff that was assigned to us was really good. He was attentive and polite. He was also professional and I just felt comfortable with him the entire time. He has his smile all the time, and that's good actually. I just wish that they'd already prepare a napkin/tissue upon the arrival of the guests on their respective table, so that they won't ask for it. For the prices, I spent probably 2500 more or less. We hadn't had a feast, just a normal dinner for 4 people, and a take home for my dad. Y'all must try Wild West, this was a worthwhile and it fits the bill without dehydrating your pockets. 'Til my next dine in, I'd possibly try the...
Read moreUpon entering someone assisted us where we can sit in an area which maximizes our comfortability and privacy however our initial seat has problem regarding with dripping air conditioning tubes that's why we decided to relocate to the available table across. It can be fixed easily in my opinion for better establishment experience. There is also an available booster seat for my child which I really commend for it's kid friendly atmosphere.
Serving time didn't take long and they served our ordered food 10 to 15 minutes later and that was 1pm on a normal Wednesday. Food was really delicious! Scrumptious 12 oz steak and fall of the bone baby back ribs. You can also tell their freshness which I also liked. Steak was medium well according to our preference and the baby back ribs I cannot describe enough how delightful it was. My son also enjoyed the delicious mashed potato and french fries as well as the Wild West rice considering he is somehow a picky eater and oh, the bottomless iced tea too. They also have complete utensils and condiments for better eating experience.
For the service and the crew it was one of the best we've experienced considering tons of restaurants we have been in. A solid 6 out of 5 for the people working there. Sometimes it's not just only the food but the people in an establishment. Besides being friendly and catering to every request we had (I requested for a refill of my bottomless Iced tea 7 times), they even entertained my son by giving him a balloon and taking time to greet him when he walked from here and there because the service was not so busy. They even chased us outside when we left because of a feeding bottle that was forgetten upon leaving the place. I mean not every establishment and crew would do that so it's really commendable.
Conclusion: REALLY RECOMMENDED PLACE TO VISIT AND DINE IN BECAUSE OF THE DELECTABLE FOOD AND...
Read moreI’m an executive in the restaurant industry and take feedback seriously; I hope you find my review helpful. The Grilled Pork Belly had bones. I’ve never had Pork Belly with bones. It was more like a pork chop than a belly. Tasty but not as fatty as a belly. The rice was good. The Buffalo Wings, while authentic, were not sauced properly (dry) and the size of the wings and portion size overall were very disappointing. For a half order, I received 5 tiny wings that looked like the chicken died of malnutrition. For the price of $5-$6 it was NOT worth it. My food came first and my friend’s food came over 30 minutes later and they tried to serve us our dessert with her main which also contained ice cream. I had to send it back as the ice cream would have melted before she could eat her main. Lastly, it was difficult to order an easy mixed drink of pineapple and vodka. Despite having the ingredients, since it wasn’t a listed drink on their menu, they were confused on how to ring it up. This is where capability-building and empowerment are so essential with the front line team. Service was friendly just a disappointment that they can’t serve good together and at the right times. The MOD, Rave, was friendly,...
