Soplicowo — Restaurant in Łódź

Wonderful Polish Food! My wife and I were heading to an Italian Restaurant around the corner from our hotel but we never made it there. We had to walk by Soplicowo to get to the Italian place and the smells coming from the kitchen wouldn't allow us to go any further so we gave up on Italian and opted for Polish. The place was busy but we were seated right away at a nice cozy table for two. We started our Soplicowo experience with a couple of shot of cherry vodka, served in icy glasses as it should be. I ordered a bowl of beetroot soup which was very tasty, the star of the soup were the dumplings, they were filled with wonderfully seasoned meat and were amazing! My wife's goat cheese salad was fresh and had a good amount of cheese with a nice dressing. With our first course we were offered a complimentary plate with bread and some kind of lard spread, I'm not sure what it is called but it had a great smokey flavor and bits of meat that may have been pork, with this came pickles and some kind of seasoned sour cream spread. A bottle of red wine was ordered to accompany our mains, I had the wild boar, very nice flavors not at all gamey, perfectly cooked in a nice rich sauce. My wife had the mushroom stuffed chicken which was cooked to a wonderful crisp on the outside but remained moist and yummy inside and filled with mushrooms with dumplings of some kind on the side. We also had a plate of the ruskie dumplings, we were stuffed at this point but managed to finish these wonderful little pockets of yumminess! After such a delicious meal we couldn't say no to desert so we split an order of apple pie with vanilla sauce, an exceptional desert to finish an exceptional dining experience!

The service was great, ambience was great and the food was amazing, if we ever make it back to Lodz this will be the first...

I recently celebrated my name day with a delightful dinner at this charming traditional restaurant in Lodz. Eager to try authentic Polish cuisine.

Our experience was made all the more special by Nadia, our waitress, not only was she incredibly friendly and attentive, but she also effortlessly catered to our needs in English language as we don’t speak Polish, and provided excellent daily recommendations. Her kindness was very nice.

The restaurant's location in the heart of the city is truly unique, and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful garden they offer during the summer months. Our taste buds were delighted by the delicious Tatarbefsteak, which was both flavorful and impeccably prepared. While the fish main course could benefit from a touch more attention, it did not diminish our overall enjoyment of the meal.

Jeśli szukasz miejsca z duszą, autentyczną kuchnią polską i wyjątkowym klimatem - Soplicowo to adres, który zdecydowanie warto zapamiętać. Sama karta to niemal literacka opowieść - nie tylko menu, ale zaproszenie do podróży przez smaki tradycyjnej kuchni.

Jedzenie? Wyborne. Dania są smaczne, wyraziste i przygotowane z dbałością o każdy szczegół. Porcje uczciwe, receptury autentyczne - bez zbędnych udziwnień, ale też bez banału. Widać i czuć, że gotuje się tu z szacunkiem do polskiej tradycji.

Obsługa zasługuje na osobne słowa uznania - uprzejma, profesjonalna i pomocna. Choć oferta dań bezglutenowych jest ograniczona, kelnerka zrobiła wszystko, aby doradzić i dopasować danie do potrzeb - to się naprawdę ceni.

Wielką zaletą Soplicowa jest jego ogród - zielony, zadbany, z mostkiem, podświetlaną fontanną, zadaszonymi stołami i mnóstwem uroczych zakątków. Mimo że jesteśmy w centrum miasta, w ogródku można poczuć się jak w odległej, spokojnej krainie. Idealne miejsce na obiad z rodziną, romantyczną kolację, spotkanie z przyjaciółmi czy biesiadę w większym gronie.

Miejsce przyjazne dzieciom - dostępne są specjalne siedziska, co docenią rodziny z maluchami.

Ceny? Bardzo rozsądne, zwłaszcza biorąc pod uwagę jakość dań, lokalizację i otoczenie.

Soplicowo to prawdziwa perła polskiej kuchni w godnej oprawie. Nietuzinkowe, klimatyczne miejsce, które serdecznie polecam zarówno mieszkańcom Łodzi, jak i gościom spoza miasta. Warto tam zajrzeć i pozwolić sobie na chwilę kulinarnej przyjemności z dala od...
