Really disappointing service. We booked for a dinner at 20:00 asking for an outdoor table and eventually for one next to the canal. We have been told that they will do their best to do so. But when we arrived and said that we had a table booked outdoor, a not friendly woman said simply “wait a minute” (in Polish, even if I spoke English…) without any smile, welcome, etc…
She then escorted us to a table indoor without giving us any choice outdoor, either with or without view. When we clarified that we booked an outdoor table her answer was simply “other tables were booked 2 weeks ago”… without apologizing for their mistake or lack of communication.
Then we left the restaurant, which was almost empty indoor, so they lost a table of ppl already planning to get lobster and crab… while being empty. Really smart management.
We were lucky to get a beautiful table just a few restaurants away; TYGLE bistro&wine. Nice food and outstanding service.
EDIT: I was the one speaking at once with the welcome lady, which spoke English perfectly when I explained we will leave... So she could have kept speaking English at the welcome, instead of switching to Polish when she understood I was with other Polish speaking clients. My friend booked the table and confirmed that she asked for an outdoor table, the "we will do our best" was referred to the view, not the outdoor, otherwise we wouldn't book it. She was also surprised by the not friendly-smiling welcome. I'm living in Poland since years and I esperience, unfortunately, that it's really difficult to see people taking the responsability of any problem. Sometimes it's enough an apologize. Maybe is a cultural thing. As entrepreneur that worked also in gastronomy I would be afraid of keeping such defending...
Read moreBest service I have ever had - and I have tried plenty of Michelin restaurants in Europe! This is one of the few good places still out there who gives worldclass service and puts the customer first. Let me tell you why.
Veery polite and professional staff who greet you directly at the door and gives that little extra personal welcome. They "see" you directly and dont have to wait.
The food was very good, we had surf n turf and the fried octopus and tenderloin is amazing! Recommend!
During dinner we accidently dropped a knife on the floor and the within 2 seconds (!) several staff discretly and professional took care of it and replace it immediatley. You could tell that they wanted us to have a smooth and pleasant dinner. This is just a concrete example of the small important details!
If you eat big steak they cut and slice it (professionally) next to your table, giving it a very luxourous feeling.
The best part was that they had seen (on their own iniative) that we celebrated 40 year birthday. They had figured it out by looking at the date of birth info you fill in on the booking!! They totally surprised us with an Amazing cake! I mean...can you imagine - we had Michelin star chefs making a cake especially for us?! Wow! Thats a memory! We are so thankful for this gesture! Smiled all way back home!

Read moreA very slow dining experience, by that I mean 3+ hours to just get a starter and dinner. The food was delicious to be fair, I ordered the "steak on swords", and I must admit, it was the best one I have ever had. So juicy and perfectly melting in my mouth. Better than wagyu that I have tried.
Before the starter arrived, I also got a compliment from the chef, it's TRUE. It included fresh and hot varying breads, truffle and normal butter, as well as some salmon sashimi and wakame. The bummer was that my acquaintance is allergic to salmon, milk and eggs, (the staff was informed beforehand and briefed upon arrival) which made this compliment, a bit more like an insult. The starter came maybe 1.5 hours in, and it was the beef tartare. It was very good, and well portioned.
