Unfortunately, a disappointing experience. We were on vacation in Gdansk. I was scrolling the Internet to find a good place with the rooftop and came across this one. When we walked in, the interior caught our sight first, and we liked it. However, we couldn't get a service because the restaurant was booked due to a business event or something like that… Anyway, that's fine we understood and asked a waiter/manager to book us for tomorrow but they told us that the booking could be only done by calling in the morning. Okay, we called in the morning and were asked to text them as well to confirm our booking. We were calling to book the rooftop table and we received such confirmation. However, when we arrived at our booking time we were told that all the tables on the rooftop terrace were gone. That's unacceptable and such situations should be controlled! Very sad to put such a bad review in such a good city! 😔As a result, we had to go to another place, and we found a decent one with the rooftop seats we wanted. I don't want to mention that place here as I am here to give reviews not to advertise! It’s been a long time since I came across such an experience, and all my reviews can be checked, and they are mostly positive. Hope this will be taken into...

Very poor service ⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely awful experience – never again

If I could give zero stars, I would. Sassy Rooftop Bar is all style over substance – and even the “style” is questionable. First, there is no clear dress code listed anywhere. We arrived dressed smart-casual (which would be fine in any decent place), only to be told at the door—very rudely—that we “don’t meet the standard.” When I asked what the standard was, the doorman just smirked and said, “It’s obvious.” Spoiler: it wasn’t obvious.

Once we finally got in (after unnecessarily awkward comments from the staff), the service was shocking. The bartenders acted like we were an inconvenience for ordering drinks. We stood at the bar for nearly 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, despite it not being that busy. When our drinks finally arrived, they were overpriced, watery, and served with an attitude that made us want to leave immediately.

The atmosphere could have been nice—good view, decent lighting—but the arrogant, unwelcoming vibe from the staff ruined everything. It’s as if they think working on a rooftop gives them a licence to be rude. Save yourself the money and go somewhere that actually values customers instead of making them...

During the latest visit of my wife and her friends to celebrate there birthday, their drinks were spiked with some unknown substances, so be aware of this place! Suddenly after only one shot of tequila my wife and some of her friends, who drank tequila (not whisky or other alcohols) got exhausted and vomiting. They were not drunk before, they came to Sassy in normal condition, they drank only one small shot of tequila and all of them suddenly got same symptoms and could difficulty remember everything. The rest who drank whisky or prosecco were ok. So I suppose, that something was spiked into tequila. We will never know who did this and why, but be careful. Other issue what is already mentioned here by other reviewers, that even though you a have an already paid deposit of 2000 zloty, they try to charge you again + add later on some strange amounts for what you didn't consume, so have all your payment confirmations with you. The security is rude and boorish, they tried take phones away from some of our guests. I had several months ago some good experiences with this location and even gave a 5 star review, but now - not, because of what happened...
