We were looking forward to a nice meal but it was rather disappointing overall.
We had to sit outside (about 5 Celsius) as they were full inside but we were really keen after reading various good reviews and decided to soldier on.
Two of us ordered T-bone steaks cooked medium rare and not only they came almost raw (you read it right, raw) but also untrimmed with all those leather-like hard inedible hard bits that really shouldn't have been there.
Service was sub-par, sauces ordered were delivered wrong, no salt and pepper provided - I had to go and get them myself before our food froze completely.
Perhaps they were very busy (it was a Saturday night after all) but it's not an excuse considering the prices charged.
Sorry to say but there's plenty room for improvement.
Update: we wanted to be fair and try again, maybe they would get it right this time. We fancied trying their burgers but, regrettably, we were let down once again. We turned up at their door just after midday to find out that they're open on Sundays from 1300. Fair enough, we thought, since we hadn't booked or even checked their opening hours. We went for a stroll and came back at 1320 but they were still closed and, despite the fact that their staff was clearly working inside, they didn't even bothered to come to the front door and talk to us. After that we decided to take our business elsewhere - somewhere where they actually open at the advertised times at least.
Well done, T-Bone Steak House - you've found the perfect recipe for going out...
Read moreI will give my honest review about this place. Being in Gdansk for about few days i was decided to go for a dinner with my wife in one of the evenings. For this dinner he had a booking made it in advance, but on arrival we had been given a table o the side of the restaurant no problem at all, as the evening was a bit cold the waiter turned on some fire heaters, one of them was working perfectly but another one the gas has finished so hasnt been replaced so i left my wife to sat in the hottest side and i swap in the cold one. After all of this we was order 2 T- bones both medium well and we specified very clear that we dont want to see any blood pouring out of the meat and he said no problem i will be medium well and proper made. When the meat turned up as you can see in the picture below , one was medium well but the other was rare to medium rare with i refuse to eat it. Plus he forget to bring as any sol/paper on the table , as i had to go over and to request them. On the top of that you will be charged TVA + 10% service charge from the hole bill and in the end paying about 550-650zlt for a dinner doesnt make sense with the...
Read moreWe had a cozy and enjoyable evening at T-Bone Steak Restaurant in Gdańsk. The weather was cold, so we started off with a warm mulled wine with rum—which worked absolute wonders and set the tone for a relaxing meal.
We ordered the T-bone steak and the pepper steak, both cooked perfectly to our liking. For sides, we had grilled vegetables, which were tasty, and chips that were okay, though not particularly memorable. Overall, we’d rate the meals 7/10.
One thing worth mentioning is that a service charge is included in the bill—but we were informed about this upfront, which we appreciated. Even so, we happily left an extra tip for our waiter, who was an absolute 10/10. Friendly, professional, and full of good humour, he made us feel very welcome. His attention to detail really stood out—he even brought me a blanket from the outdoor area while we were sitting inside to help me warm up faster. Small...
