I'm a regular at the establishment, along with my wife. We eat at the restaurant around once a month. In total we've eaten here about 11 times and intend to come back.
Overall the atmosphere feels like you've been dropped straight into the stereotypical diner with best elements of the aesthetics of America between 40s and 80s. It might be a bit on the nose at times but never the less feels very charming. My wife likes to say It makes her feel very at home.
The menu is diverse but not overwhelming in it's selection. You can find the food you'd expect as a foreigner when thinking about American dining. Chicken, Burgers, a fair bit of Texmex and fried stuff. From our experience the food is always good quality and the cooks know what they're doing. They also have a bar and good bartenders, who were able to make us a drink that wasn't on the menu.
Tho be prepared to pay ALOT for some of the meals. In my opinion the steaks are very overpriced, at tripple digit prices. Their size is nothing to write home about, as they're pretty avarage for the region. If you were to compare them to the Texas sized meals (which I was expecting given the theme) you'd be very disapointed. It feels like they're charging you actual dollars... except this is eastern europe.
The staff is very nice and competent. Sadly the waitresses are forced to wear uniforms styled after Hooters, shorts and all. I don't know if they get a choice between shorts and long pants, but if they don't they should. I'm not sure how often they rotate the staff, but every time we've come on sundays the staff was miserable. Cooks would undercook and underseason the meals and waitresses would look tired, waiting time would also increase despite the restaurant being less crowded.
TLDR: Great food, great atmosphere, good staff, pretty pricey, avoid it on sundays.
PS: They have menus in English too, and some waitresses speak english enough for you to communicate...
Read moreI visited Jeff’s Silesia City Center yesterday with two friends. For two of us, it was our first visit, while one of our friends was revisiting and highly recommended the BBQ Ribs, which unfortunately weren’t available this time.
We ordered Chicken Bryan, Teriyaki Pork Steak, and NY Buffalo Wings with the most spicy sauce available. The service by our waitress, Emilka, was prompt and friendly. The Teriyaki Pork Steak arrived first and, according to my friend, was cooked to perfection. There was a slight delay before the rest of the food arrived, but nothing too disruptive. (Maybe except for the fact 2 of us invaded our 3rd friend's plate and robbed her of some of the delicious fried potatoes ;) )
The NY Buffalo Wings were delicious, though my friend who chose the spiciest sauce found them mild compared to Indian cuisine (next time, I might sneakily whisper to a waitress and ask about adding some wasabi to his meal!) My dish, Chicken Bryan, was a bit overcooked and dry, though the coleslaw was delicious, and the fries were well-prepared. I personally preferred the fried potatoes from my friend’s plate.
When I mentioned the chicken was dry (just as feedback), the manager came over and professionally offered to replace the dish or remove it from the bill. I appreciated their dedication to customer satisfaction but declined a replacement, I feel guilty about idea of throwing food to a bin. They still insisted on removing the item from the bill, which showed great commitment to service.
Customer service was absolutely flawless, the atmosphere was fun and felt like stepping into a piece of the USA, and the food was decent overall. We’ll likely visit again, though I hope the BBQ Ribs are available next time! I want to see if they are as good as my friend...
Read moreGeez, where to start. While back this chain was a decent place to eat, but this is my first time after a few years of not eating there. The restaurant is located conveniently in the shopping center, and that's about it, what I can say is positive about this place. Corn was frozen and thrown on the grill, that made it soggy and not edible. The salad was just tasteless, and beef tartare was a veiny defrosted piece of meat of a very low quality. The burger and the cheeseburger were actually good. Well seasoned and cooked right. I didn't order medium rare, because this would be too much to ask for at a place like this. So the safe bet was medium. The manager did offer a refund on the tartare, which I used, and I appreciate her gesture. The corn just wasn't worth complaining about. I would be labeled as "one of those", so I just left it alone. Too bad, I hope they'll fix the quality control and be successful in the future, but the competition is fierce...
