Bar mleczny Pod Filarkami — Restaurant in Krakow

Decent "Mlečny" bar. A bit difficult to order, because staff does not speak english. We went there in the end off the day, maybe because of that, staff moods were not the best. I don't say it was rude, just exhausted maybe. Food. Food was ok. Žurek- very tasty with, interesting serving style (see photo :) ). Kids got some kind of chicken filet and it was alright- juicy etc. Salads on the side weren't the freshiest, but knowing that it was somewhere around 5 pm we accepted it as is. Pierogi on the other hand weren't the best I've tryed in Krakow. A bit soggy and a bit tastless. But if you want to eat normal food while you visiting and exploring Krakow you can eat here. We had many meals here when we were students, and the food standards haven't changed for 20 years. It's a busy place and you would need to wait in the queue. While the food is ready, Lady on the till will shout out your meal. So be vigilant 😁 The lady on the till was nice and very efficient, so the queue goes quickly.
