Unfortunately, I’ve had consistently negative experiences at this café bar due to the unwelcoming and, frankly, unprofessional attitude of two staff members: an older bigger bald man and a bigger woman who are regularly on shift. Their service is not only inattentive but often openly rude. On several occasions, I’ve seen them make guests uncomfortable by telling them they can’t sit in certain areas that are free or questioning their drink/food choices, even when those guests are staying at the hotel. What’s especially unsettling is that the man tends to watch customers closely in a way that feels intrusive and uncomfortable, as if you’re being monitored rather than welcomed.
What’s even more concerning is that their behavior seems especially unkind toward non white customers. Polite requests are often met with eye rolling, dismissive responses, or outright being ignored. It’s deeply disappointing to be treated in a way that makes you feel more like an inconvenience than a valued customer.
This kind of conduct drives people away and creates a very unpleasant atmosphere. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue, as it truly affects the reputation of an otherwise...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of your establishment since its official opening, and until recently, I have always enjoyed my visits. The food is still excellent, particularly the morning sandwiches, which are reasonably priced. However, I have noticed a decline in the quality of service during my last five or six visits.
On my most recent visit, I was left waiting for 15 minutes without anyone attending to me. Despite the fact that the table next to mine was dirty, the staff did not take any action to clean it. When the waiter finally came to clean it, I had to ask for a menu, and I was disappointed by the lack of empathy demonstrated by the staff.
While I understand that this is a hotel cafe, and main dishes can be a bit expensive, the poor service is unacceptable. The staff members were more interested in chatting with each other or checking their phones than attending to customers. As a long-time patron, I cannot overlook such poor service.

Read moreI just recently stayed at the Ibis Style hotel in Krakow for 5 days and as the restaurant is placed in the lobby of the hotel I really couldn't have asked for a better restaurant and bar so close by. The food and cocktails were amazing and made many places that we visited in Krakow fall flat in comparison. However the I can not give enough compliments to the incredible staff that worked at the bar during our stay. They were so lovely, so accommodating and helped us with everything that we needed. They always chatted with us about our trip and gave us tips for locations to check out and by the end if we were going out we couldn't leave the lobby without saying hi to them first.
